Ordered two Philly cheesesteaks thinking that they would be spot on, but what we got were these tiny dry sandwiches with hardly any meat and hardly any cheese. The meat was extremely dry, and there was stuff in the sandwich like chips (see picture). Most of it was dry bread, and to top it all off, a 6-inch was $11!!! You can buy an excellent and large cheesesteak in Philly for about $7 or $8, so I’m wondering where these prices and this tired-looking sandwich came from. Aside from the food, the workers were excellent. The cashier was so nice. The chefs were also nice, and although the “cheesesteaks” were horrible, I’m sure they were just following the directions they were given. Either way, I expected much better and not to get ripped off. Won’t be going back here… really disappointed In addition the credit card machine asks if you want to leave a tip, which is normal. What’s not normal is the amounts you can select from are 18%, 20%, and 22%! I left a cash tip, but are they serious? Workers at McDonald’s don’t get tipped, but I’m supposed to tip 22% of my entire order, which as mentioned above was not good.

While traveling, one sees and hears a lot of advertising about Philadelphia style hoagies and cheesesteaks ….. and more often than not, you end up very disappointed. You will NOT be disappointed with Primo; the elaborate menu contains a few outstanding gems that are rarely found this good outside Philly or South Jersey. I mean it —- it’s that good. Now, of course, you get what you pay for, so the stacked 22 inch “old Italian” with onions, peppers will set you back 28 bucks, but oh man, what a sandwich…. Three people could share it. My sister swears by the tuna Diablo, and rest of my family fights over what to try next. Absolutely A+ !

I got the roast beef Diablo and made it the largest sandwich they had to offer just to try it with the family. It really didn't have too much flavor with the roast beef being bland. To contrast the meat, it had very fresh tasting ingredients (lettuce, banana pepper really stuck out). The bread didn't have that fresh taste, almost as if it was a day old even though it was a cold sub, it was extremely hard to bite through as if toasted. The price to quality ratio doesn't really seem to add up. About $9 for just a 5-6 inch sandwich, no chips & drink included. Overall, it's just okay 👍

Long story. The place is clean-the ingredients are great for the most part, but don't expect real grilled steak and cheese, it's not.

This is our 3rd visit to this location. Visit #1 was on opening day so it's really not fair to judge accurately, although it's a franchise, and having had a franchise myself... opening day should be perfect because they get lots of help and support. Anyway, we were somewhat happy with the food that day except for the bread. It was dense and seemed stale, oh And my chicken cutlet was cold but the brocolli rabe was hot so go figure. 2 out of 5 subs were cut in 1/2 but they came out ok. Yep, the service was slow and some orders were messed up that day but come on guys, they were still learning, and it was really crowded. (DINED IN)

Visit #2-they totally messed up two simple orders and the bread was super hard and seemed stale. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken and I specifically asked the owner if the chicken was the cutlet not the cubes and she told me it was the cutlet and guess what I got? CUBES of chicken and not a great texture. The second sub was a steak and cheese hoagie and we were told they could do the onions and peppers well cooked. NOPE, raw barely warm meat and uncooked onions with NO PEPPERS and NO CHEESE, AND the bread was tasty but hard a a rock. Too late, we were already home. (TAKE OUT) I was about to give up but then I remembered I had a gift certificate so we decided to give it one last try. Visit #3 (today). We asked at the counter if the bread was fresh (was told yes) we asked if we could have the bread scooped out in the middle (was told YES). So...we ordered 2 sharp Italian PRIMO'S with no onions, pepper spread, lettuce and tomato, oil and vinegar. GUESS WHAT? The order came out PERFECT except the bread was still hard a bit hard (mostly the ends). We took the 2nd half home, removed the lettuce and tomato, wrapped them in foil and tossed them in the oven for a few minutes and the bread came out soft in the center and crispy on the outside. It was a lot of work but TASTED so much better. The kids working there tonight paid attention and got the order absolutely perfect. We just need a better bread option so maybe next time we will try one first thing in the morning when the bread comes out of the oven. Not sure if I want to try this place again but maybe my hubby will. I think I"m...

Would love to give this place 5 stars. The employees are rock solid. The food is spectacular. It's always clean. The dirt pudding is what dreams are made of. However the employees and the community have shown up to a locked building due to the OWNER of primos, failing to be his rent. The building owner has locked out the employees and the now this business will probably close. It's a shame that done owners simply don't understand that in a business, especially the first year, you are not guaranteed a pay check or a lavish lifestyle. Instead we have several employees out of jobs with zero fair warning, and yet another establishment with its doors shut. Pay your dang bills. It's not like the owners shut the door and closed the business. Who opens an eatery under the idea of paying their building rent on a monthly basis? Successful business owners would have had a years worth of rent upfront. Would have had a years worth of salaries up front. It's inexcusable for a national chain to have it's doors locked due to failure to pay rent. Welcome to yet...
