Ugh. A change if ownership since we were last here several months ago. Service has dropped down but most importantly the food hit bottom. Our chips and salsa were sent back because the chips in the basket were burnt, and a little rancid taste and came with a few french fries! Lol... Salsa was not as good either. We ordered 6 tacos. Except for the fish taco, the rest were room temp and took way to long to serve...20 minutes from the time we ordered. Our waiter was very nice and a total novice. Read moreThe food was okay... The service was good. I wouldn't call it Mexican food, it's more Texmex. Its catering to people idea of what Mexican food might taste like. The ground beef in my Chile rellenó (it should not be in there in the first place) tasted like Taco Bell. It wasn't even battered and fried. The sauce tasted prepackaged, and it was because I found a piece of plastic in the sauce confirming my suspicion on the flavor. I didn't complain about the plastic, it wasn't a big deal. Had it been a hair, then I would have said something. The michelada was on point. It was okay for a quick dinner but I'm not going back. I want my Mexican food...
Read moreI'm no expert on Mexican food at all however, the food we ate here tonight was exceptionally tasty, fresh, delicious at a reasonable price. $36 for two dinners with drinks is very reasonable today.
Quesadillas served 4 to a plate stuffed to the max with savory chicken. And the fajita mix (chicken/beef) served with ample portions of refried beans, rice and salad.
