The Original Village Pizza — Restaurant in Florida

Normally i love this place and have gotten pizza exclusively from Village for 20 years but not anymore. I am never ever the type to be annoying or complain but i ordered a large pizza tonight with light sauce and pineapple and pepperoni and after picking up saw there wasn’t pineapple. I thought “oh well” and wouldn't ever say something over something like that. i gave my kids their pizza and when they took a bite they didn't like it bc there was a good amount of sauce on it. The amount of sauce village does normally is a good bit, hence the light sauce order. So i called right away and the girl just uncomfortably told me i could return it untouched and they would make another. Otherwise there is nothing they can do. I explained the whole thing and that we cant know how much sauce there really is by eyeballing it; someone has to try it. and said I’ll bring back the pizza minus the two bites my kids took. I just wanted the right order. i don't want anything for free or anything like that and would never in my wildest dreams lie to get something for free. but after another uncomfortable silence she just said theres nothing they can do and i can try to call back tomorrow? I asked if they could refund me then if i bring it back and they said no. Thats kinda messed up seeing how it was expensive for a single pizza and was their mistake. Its just bad customer service and left a bad taste in my mouth. so ill try a different pizza...

Without a doubt, you’re going to get delicious food at this restaurant. As usual, I couldn't decide what to eat, but I found two pizzerias open until 10 PM one of those being the original village pizza. Originally called asking if they could accommodate e a white sauce on their Sicilian but was told by the lady on the phone they couldn’t as they all come with a red sauce. A little disappointed at that but that didn’t scare us away. After ending that call, we continued looking at the menu and finally came to a a decision on what we wanted by 9:30. When I called the first thing we requested to order was a Sicilian pizza, was told it was too late for them to make it since they closed in 30 minutes that left us kind of stuck considering that was the main reason of ordering. The lady on the phone ultimately ended up accommodating our request and promised to make it for us this time. I genuinely want to thank them for this, as it was the best decision we made. We arrived at the restaurant around 9:55, just five minutes before closing. The Sicilian pizza came out shortly after, looking amazing. We went home and devoured the Sicilian pizza, chicken Parmesan sandwich, and garlic bread, all of which we highly recommend. This Italian spot is absolutely great, and I would recommend it over any other...

Absolutely disgusted! My family and I have ordered from here faithfully for 3 years now since we moved from CT. I ordered a pizza and wings.. early because typical delivery time is an hour and 10 minutes. I didn’t get to eat until about 1 1/2 hours later and it was disappointing. The pizza is alway good. But the wings, which were supposed to be medium had absolutely no seasoning and there was not ranch/blue cheese. I called the restaurant and after 4 minutes on hold listening to the staff debate how I had just gotten the order when it was sent out earlier etc, the owner got on the phone. I told him I heard all his staff conversations, I never reported the order was late, I reported it wasn’t what I ordered. Didn’t appreciate the staff talking bad about me lying about my order. I said wings always come with dressing, celery etc. the OWNER said I’m sorry you ordered wrong. Wow!!!! Medium wings with no sauce and no dressing. Plain wings I could have cooked better myself to be honest. My fault. I let him know I work in the area and will NEVER refer guests to them or will my family...
