I -used- to love this place, go as far as recommending it to friends, but now I can't see myself going back. First off, If I ask for my usual draught lager, which in my experience 95% bars have on tap, throw me a backhanded insult when I'm told you only have canned lager with draughts are all IPAs. I guess I'm not supposed to visible be a little stunned by the change of how they serve beers since it was follow up with "but I can pour your canned beer in a glass if you'd like" in an obvious negative tone. I drank my canned lager like I was drinking a natty ice because why else do you buy canned beer. Then I ordered breaded wings when she brought the canned beer just to make things quick n easy, she even followed it up by asking again breaded or non which was nice. I'm past the rough start and just hungry and excited to get some of my favorite wings that I haven't had in a year. A young girl, not my server, brings me non breaded wings, and I audibly chuckle as to how my first 20 minutes experience has been at a place I used to love going to. The young girl asked if I needed anything and was very nice and I wish she had been my server from the start. I didn't even complain about the wings, I just wanted to eat. The sauce was watered down tasting and almost oily tasting, not even a hint of heat to extra hot wings, which you honestly could of passed for mild. I couldn't even finish them they were barely edible due to the flavor. For the next 20 min I saw my server walk by several times and never come over to see if everything is ok or if we needed anything. I wanted to order more food since the wings were gross tasting, but didn't say anything because it was to a point I wanted to actually see how long it l would take. The last time I saw her was when she took the order, now over almost 30 min later, I got her attention for a drink to which she clearly rolled her eyes on. I immediately threw mcash on the table, trying not to give enough where she gets any of it, and walked outta there just laughing at the ridiculousness of it all. I've never done a review this long winded, but when I got the notification asking about my experience here, I felt the urge to say something. I could of been unlucky and it was a one off, but I recommend going somewhere else if you're looking for a...
Read moreHorrendous Customer Service at The Stadium Restaurant and Bar
I have been a long-time resident of New Port Richey and decided to support a local establishment, The Stadium Restaurant and Bar. Unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of a disaster, and I feel compelled to warn others about their appalling customer service and disregard for customer needs.
I placed a takeout order for pretzels, specifically requesting over the phone that they be lightly cooked due to a throat condition stemming from prior radiation treatment. This critical request was entirely ignored. When I arrived home—after a 15-minute drive—the pretzels were not only severely burnt but also stale, rendering them completely inedible. To add insult to injury, the packaging was stapled shut, so I had no way to inspect the food before leaving the restaurant.
Upon calling the restaurant to rectify the issue, I was connected to a manager named Mike. I calmly explained the situation and requested a credit for the inedible food, offering to send photographic evidence of the burnt pretzels. Instead of addressing the issue with professionalism or compassion, Mike took a condescending tone, dismissively correcting my estimation of how much additional time it would take to return and have the food remade. His arrogant attitude only escalated when I reiterated that I could not reasonably make another 45-minute trip for a simple $25 order. Rather than resolving the situation amicably, he rudely insisted this was “their policy” and refused to make any accommodations.
I will admit to losing my temper in response to his unprofessional demeanor, but this situation should never have escalated to that point. As a customer who politely explained a legitimate issue, I should have been treated with respect and care, not disdain and arrogance. The lack of basic courtesy and customer service skills demonstrated by the management at The Stadium is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the establishment as a whole.
If you value your time, money, and dignity as a customer, I strongly urge you to avoid this restaurant. There are plenty of other local establishments that prioritize customer satisfaction and are willing to address issues in a reasonable manner. The Stadium Restaurant and Bar...
Read moreI have personally only ordered from here twice. The first time which was 2 nights ago, overall was pretty good which is why I decided to not give them 1 star. My wife and I ordered the BOGO Boneless Wings and the best way to describe them is just like Hooters Boneless Wings, no difference. Tonight (2/28/21) though my wife and I decided to do the same thing but instead of Fries we decided to try the Onion Rings. We ordered through Uber and had some problems with our first inital driver as she cancelled the order after an hour, which we were then assigned a new driver right away. 2 hours had now gone by since I placed the order at 18:01, I decided to call the restraunt as I had assumed it was on there end. The worker that I spoke to stated that the food had been ready since before 19:00, that it wasn't on there end and that the first driver showed up, sreamed at them and then left after cancelling the order. After 2 hours and 20 minutes of waiting and my stomach at this point starting to eat itself, my food finally arrived! To my surprise, the food was disgusting. The Boneless Wings were completely cold as I am assuming they did not whip up a new batch after the first driver left, which is not my fault and Customer Satisfaction should be at the top as we, the customers, are spending our hard earned money on this, not the person who is just picking up the food to deliver. The Onion Rings were horribly undercooked to the point where they could have taken frozen Onion Rings and just threw them in a box to unthaw for 2 hours, to which I had to refry them, or fry them if they did not, which I do not see the point of a restraunt if you have to cook the food yourself. To top things off, they sent Horse Radish sauce with our Boneless Wings. Like, who in the hell gets Horse Radish sauce?! I wanted Blue Cheese! Overall displeased with how this restraunt handled the situation. I felt like they purposly put the wrong sauce in due to the actions of the first inital driver because once again, who orders Horse Radish sauce with Wings?! I will update my review if I ever decide to order delivery or go and eat at this...
