Vince's Deli & Sub Shop — Restaurant in Florida

The food is still good, but honestly, it’s not what it used to be before the current owner took over. A few of my friends who’ve been coming here for years agree—it seems like something changed. That said, it’s still a decent place to grab a sub, and because of that, I can’t bring myself to rate it any lower than 4 stars, even with the poor service.

The service is lacking, though. The owner comes off as rude, especially with his staff, which really doesn’t set the best tone. The place itself has always been a bit dated and not the most sanitary-looking, which hasn’t changed over the years.

I used to love their pasta and potato salads, but now I personally avoid them—they just don’t hit the same.

Vince’s Deli—back when ACTUAL Vince ran it—was a staple in my family. Every other week, we were going to Vince’s, no question. Then along comes this guy Bob, who decides the name isn’t long enough and slaps “Bob Agostino’s” before it on the sign. Really, Bob? Two possessive nouns? What, do you own Vince AND his deli now? You buying people, too?

The vibe? Shot. Bob’s got the charm of a DMV clerk with a hangover: dismissive, tight-lipped, like ordering a sandwich is a burden to HIM. I’m sorry, is this a deli or a hostage situation?

And the food? Let’s just say my dog has standards, and he’d walk away from this place with his tail between his legs. Ever since Bob greased his way into ownership, the whole thing’s been a slow-motion trainwreck. If you miss Vince’s Deli, you’re not alone. RIP...

Vince’s has a pretty full sandwich menu with both hot & cold subs available. As well as sliced fresh lunch meat, salads, slaw, beans boil eggs, etc. They have a big beverage selection with specialty juices, and cream sodas, root beer, Beer etc. They can get pretty busy at lunch time people come from everywhere to get a good lunch. I recommend calling your order in, their sandwich’s are the real deal so noon they get slammed. My Family has been getting sub orders here for probably 30 yrs or so.
