I ordered delivery that was delivered via doordash. The order had the wrong drink, was missing a sauce packet, and the sauce placed in my Son's kids meal was ghost pepper packet. I get that these are minor mistakes, and they happen, but this is not the point of my review.
I called the store and talked to a lady claiming to be the manager that appeared to barely understand English. Our conversation originated with her asking how she could help. I told her I received my order and there was an issue with it. She asked what my name was, which I told her. She told me my order was on the way. I repeated to her that my order already arrived and I had a problem with my order, she restated that my order was already picked up and on the way. This same volley of information went back and forth a few more times before I insisted that she is either not listening to me or not understanding what I was saying.
When she finally realized that I had already received my order, she asked what was wrong. I explained that a drink was the wrong flavor and size and there was a ghost pepper sauce packet in my son's kids meal. She interrupted me while I was explaining the part about my son's kids meal and proceeded to ask me what my order was.
When I started to tell her what my order was, she appeared to start having a conversation with someone else in Spanish while I was talking to her. She made it very apparent she was no longer listening to what I was saying. She was occasionally redirecting her conversation to me listing random items from my order. This went on for a few minutes. She finally redirected her attention to me and said my order was correct. This is where I realized she has not understood what I told her in the very beginning of our conversation. I had already told her more than once what was wrong with my order.
When it appeared I might have finally got through to her about what was wrong, she blamed the doordash driver. I asked her if the doordash driver prepared my food and drink (more than once before she finally answered). She said they did not. I reaffirmed to her that this is a store problem and not a doordash issue. She continued to insist I had to take my issue up with doordash and refused to offer any other resolve.
If I were the manager of an establishment, I would at the very least consider a profuse apology and acknowledge this is a training issue for my staff. It was very unprofessional for someone who claims to be the manager to deny a problem and blame it on another entity that had nothing to do with the preparation of the order. These were minor issues and I simply expected a minor resolve. Sadly this experience revealed what I consider a major issue in the management and leadership of this...
Read moreService at this particular Wendy tends to be pretty good the other day I went in for a Dave's triple and a medium fry and medium drink. I got the medium fry and got the medium drink oh, but I did end up getting a single Dave's burger and not a triple. The woman at the drive-in apologized and quickly got me a triple made and I was on my way. Of course with most fast food restaurants you want to order your food when its freshest which is the busiest times around lunch and dinner to get the best sandwiches possible. Of course Wendy's Cooks there never Frozen beef which always makes a better sandwich. I can't say that I'm a fan of their liquid wax cheese that they put on their fries I would prefer that they sprinkled on natural Jesus instead of that can or bagged cheese that they squeezed out. Also I think the manager could find tune the people that are taking the orders at the window. I've been in restaurant management for 25 years. And usually when you make an order they're supposed to repeat the order back to you to make sure it's correct. But they typically don't do that at this location. I got to say that I really haven't had but one bad meal there meaning that the burgers were dry and the sandwich just wasn't right and I should have drove back to the drive-thru and got a fresh one made. But I didn't have the time to do so. But that's my problem for not showing up at dinner time or lunch time when they typically have the freshest stuff coming out the window. Overall I give the place for stars because it holds most of the general values that have Wendy's should...
Read moreZero stars if i could. I reached the drive thru at 1030 and didn't get to order until just about 11pm, I waited about 17 minutes for my food after ordering. When i looked through the drive through window, they were playing with my burger instead of promptly bagging it. So it took from 1030 til 1118 to finally get my food on a six dollar order which was a Dave's single and a 10pc spicy nuggets. To really top off the insult to injury, the nuggets were room temperature cold. So there is absoloutely no justification that something had to be cooked to order if they were served cold. No reciept was given when they handed back my credit card, nor was there a reciept inside the bag. A crew of 3 or 4 fulfilling one-six dollar order every ten minutes is unsustainable even if the food quality wasnt served cold! That obviously doesnt cover their own wages!
I work at a nearby pizza place, we normally run a crew of 1 during the day and 2 on weeknights and 4 on weekends. and our wait times are around 10 minutes for something that is individually made to order with the pizza being stretched, sauced, topped including the cooking time, frequently achieving 6-7 minute order fulfillment on the regular (5 minutes oven time), even moreso with simple items like nuggets,...
