Whitney's Fresh Market — Restaurant in Florida

We purchased 2.5 pounds of Chilean Sea Bass on 2/13/19. We purchased Chilean Sea Bass here two previous times. In the past the CSB was not frozen, had no skin and was white, this time it was frozen, had skin and some pieces were dark but we purchased it anyway. I thawed the fish in the refrigerator and the next day I rinsed it and it smelled fishy, I cooked the fish some of it tasted like Chilean Sea Bass but some of it tasted fishy too. We went to WHITNEY'S FRESH MARKET on Tuesday 8/27/2024 for their advertised lobster roll and it was the worst lobster or lobster roll we have ever had and totally overpriced with what they gave you, lobster was very chewy and we both got sick and we believe it was mainly due to improper handling of mayonnaise material. So, in conclusion we will never ever go there again for shopping or any other reason because this place used to be better before 2020 and before they start serving food also whatever we saw in the coolers as in seafood looked old & undesirable. I used to get all my seafood here. The gentleman that worked the counter was always very polite and nice. I've been here twice and have not seen him. There is a new employee. The employee seemed to be somewhat annoyed with me asking about prices. Seemed like she did not want to deal with customers on those days. Tarpon Springs area seafood market is more people friendly , price friendly and really fresh . I'll take a nice ride to another town to get better quality , be respected and price friendly seafood.
