Went there some weeks ago because a friend recommended them. Had a great experience and food was very good. Went a second time, same thing. Went there tonight, 9/7/22, with that very friend who made the recommendation and had a terrible experience. I have TBI from an injury in May of 2003. I obviously have residual effects from that injury that have in the last 5 years required the assistance of a service dog. As I have get older the effects have become more frequent. Because of this, she absolutely goes everywhere with me. She is exceptionally clean, groomed, fully trained and proven on multiple levels. She will be 5 in October. I have never had any incident anywhere much less at a restaurant. A neon blue haired young waitress while attending to our order made a comment stating that I must keep my service dog from shaking and that service dogs do not shake. WHAT? How does anyone stop any trained dog from shaking? My dog is a Belgian Malinois. She has a very high drive. Because of this and her specific training, I use a pronged collar on her. She will from time to time adjust that collar by shaking. She will almost always shake after exiting from under a table. I was understandably upset at the extremely ignorant comment. When the pronged collar is off, it is very rare for her to shake. Nonetheless, the collar is required. I questioned why she would make such a statement and what qualifies her to set such a standard. In part I viewed it as an effort to restrict or deny service. I decided to leave and I am considering communication with my attorney and the ADA. If you have a disability or require a service dog you may want to reconsider patronage to this restaurant. Very offensive uneducated waitress. No amount of good food is worth...
Read moreDO NOT EAT HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE HAIR AND COCKROACHES! me and my boyfriend are regulars here and come in all the time since we live right down the road. one day we came in to eat and ordered our food like normal. Towards the end of the meal my boyfriend started to take the last couple of bites of his sushi when he found a long black hair in his food! after finding the hair of course we lost our appetite so he went to grab the napkin his silverware was wrapped in to clean his hands and mouth and OUT CAME A COCKROACH!!! it started climbing all over the table and the walls! when we alerted our waitress she got what i assume was either the owner or the manager and all she had to say was "we havent seen one of those in a long time." we didnt finish our food because of the encounter and instead of at least offering a discount or meal comp for our discomfort she just shrugged her shoulders left the cockroach out in the dining room because she couldn't find it after 2 minutes of looking. we will never eat here again and i hope you...
Read moreI saw previous reviews so I thought I will be happy with this place. I cook at home a lot so when I go out to eat I expect food to be at least as good as my own. And I'm not trying to show off that I'm a great cook cause I'm not. I consider myself a healthy cook, trying to use as much fresh products possible. I wasn't very impressed with this restaurant but then I personally only had the coconut soup and sashimi. Sashimi was of course good but then how can you mess up sashimi unless you give it old. Coconut soup was OK as far as the flavor but mushrooms in it weren't too fresh, and since you can get awesome soup at Thai noodle place I wouldn't go back to this restaurant to get it. My kids had the kids habachi steak and it was chewy - I tried it myself. My husband was happy with the beef lard and the waiters were very nice so it wasn't that bad of experience. We just moved to the area so we are still looking for good places to eat, we might come back to this place but it would be more of convenience as it's only a mile...
