Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Florida

Food is good but hard to say if I would ever come back here due to the disgusting and complete disregard for any sign of appreciation or care your employees have for your paying customers. Instead only annoyed and irritated faces and heaven forbid they make a mistake on your order, I ordered drive thru but had to go inside due to a mistake with my 20 count wings which were smothered in bbq sauce even though I asked for it as a side. I walked in with my bag, cashier did not greet me, looked me up and down as I explained their mistake. She walked away completely unapologetic without saying a word and spoke to the kitchen staff who was also irritated then proceeded to tell me it will be a 20 minute wait as to deter me from having the mistake corrected . As if it was MY mistake. I said ok I’ll wait, she was surprised to hear me say that because they assumed I wouldn’t, wait. She smirked and shrugged her shoulders and walked away as I proceeded to stand at the counter to wait. As I waited I witnessed the cashiers deliberate lack of care for the guests she placed orders for. Each guest would greet and thank her without a word from her. It was very uncomfortable to watch almost to the point laughable that someone hired her and she is the first person to interact with your paying customers. No name tags worn so I will identify her by her blue wig she was wearing. I have never had such horrible service or interaction with a employee at any establishment such as this. Food is usually satisfying but not tonight. We got 2 family packs - 20 chicken tenders and the other with 30 boneless wings plus a Cobb salad..Chicken was room temperature and stringy, and the toast was cold. Gave us the wrong sauce and did not get the Cobb salad. Paid $75+ I had to repeat my order 4 times and they still got it wrong!

Fast forward 4 months to May 22, 2023, I had a great idea ‘let’s go get Zaxby’s for dinner! ‘. It’s been awhile and I was craving some tenders. We got to the port Charlotte, Fl location at 8:42pm and headed to the drive thru. Ordered the usual boneless wing family pack and a tenders family pack plus chicken bacon ranch loaded fries. We were asked what sauces we wanted so I said hot honey mustard , Buffalo and bbq please. He said sure no problem so we paid our $72+ bill and waited for the order. By the time we got back to the house, we were hungry and excited to eat some zaxbys…. Chicken looked good , but when I searched the bags for hot honey mustard, Buffalo and bbq sauces there wasn’t any!!! Instead we were given ranch, ranch and more ranch!!! WTH! If you’re not going to give us what we ask for, WHY BOTHER ASKING??? Does this happen to other patrons or does it only happen to me?? Either way I’m so over the inefficiencies of the staff. They don’t give a S#!t ! How freaking hard is it to grab other sauces from the other bin? If you dont have it then let us know or better yet don’t bother asking! I had my son with me and decided to get some lunch. This place was close to where I was and I went to one in another city one time and it was good. Happy to see our town get one. Anyway they had just opened and I went through the drive through. I sat there for about five minutes with no one greeting me over the comm or trying to take my order. Then somebody had walked out the back door and I asked if they were open. Shocked that no one had helped me they told me to just pull around to the window. I ordered a wing basket, which was described on the board as five wings, Texas toast, fries and a drink. The lady at the window had to relay my order to someone else because someone was working off a ladder right in the window. She then asked me what size. I say I thought it came with five wings. She says no 5, 10, or 20. I was like ok 20 then. What I got was 20 wings. There was no fries, toast, or anything else. Of coarse I did not realize this till I got home so now my lunch consist of only chicken. Which wasn’t bad. The fries from sons kids mea were the best things I ate. The chicken was good not great. I might have gone back for food. But I won’t go back for the service. I specifically told the girl I wanted the basket and also had a conversation about how many wings came in the basket with me pointing out, directly, that the board said it only came with five wings.
