As a business person. I enjoy reading your posts about how and why you run your business. Seems quality, customer service and passion to contribute to the community and being part of the community are cornerstones of your success. You are a good business person and community leader with an even bigger heart. I used to live lots closer as in about 10 miles away but for 37 years I've been elsewhere building a career. Mostly in Kansas City and the past 3 years splitting time between the Midwest and Fresno California. Just thought you would want to you have at least one follower 2700 miles away. By the way, I see those late night posts to your loyal fans. When do ya sleep? Yep, I know. Life of a small business owner. Sleep in the off season except for all the off season time needed to plan and prep and build next year. Keep on doing what you are doing. I have loved Dari Owl for over 16yrs. My kids love Brian, like he is family. Why Because it's a small family Business and you become Brian's family. He treats his customers the way he was taught by his father.

If you grew up playing baseball or softball in the area, I am sure if you had a hot game or won your game. Someone probably treated you to DariOwl. I know our coaches did, and so did my son's coaches. Kids around here wait to see the Boards are off the building in the spring and are sad when they go back up in September.

The year is 2022, Brain just like Howdy, employees his local high school kids to work the counter. Which not many place still do this! Inflation is through the roof and he put his number out there for the customer to see. He does this because he cares and loves his customers. You will not find a corporate company willing to show you their order forms and prices or any numbers for that matter.

The Dari Owl is my favorite place around to go in the summer for ice cream. I've only lived locally about eleven years and I first discovered it by recommendation by a friend because my daughter was lactose intolerant and they were the only place around (at the time) that carried Dole Whip. As a 3 year old, it was super exciting to have a place to go where she could actually get something. Even though when she was about 8 or 9 she finally outgrew it, we have still been loyal patrons. The options are vast and the portions are large. They don't skimp on the toppings. I personally love that they have marshmallow topping that I can add to my peanut butter sundae. And there are plenty of tables to sit down and eat at. The dogs even look forward ro the drive across the river. Unless the tubeman is out. 😂
