McDonald's — Restaurant in Follansbee District

Low score today! I do hope it is the girl giving out the food new position or something happened that caused the distraction. First, she'd starts to give me someone else's drinks. I had ordered a vanilla milkshake, she was handing me a ? Sprite. Apologizes and thanked me. I said wait a minute I ordered a double cheeseburger and a small french fries she says hold on. she comes back and hands me a bag with my small fries and my double cheeseburger in it and I leave. So when I do get a chance I pull over and I'm eating my sandwich and french fries. As I take my sandwich out of the bag....it is typical slid all off to one side and wrapped up. I don't know how they do that! I swear they must teach that ! Every sandwich I've ever gotten at McDonald's has that typical kind of slid to one side, well that's okay, to a point . When you get one that is slid so far to one side that you can't help but have half of your sandwich all over your palm and in some cases you're lucky enough to get it dripping off of your hand or out of the sandwich onto your shirt! Anyway, it was, all in all, a pretty tasty sandwich, but there was so much ketchup and mustard and pickle juice, etc. That the bun was kinds soggy, last couple bites had a lot of pepper on them, but like I said, all in all it was...

The people are very nice especially the owner (I believe she is the owner or wife of owner or co owner) working right along with the employees which is always great management practice. Lead from the front is what I learned in the army and it still serves me best now. Seeing that is great. However some of the workers lack of attention to detail is frustrating. I ordered just a mcdouble and a value fries with a side of hot mustard dipping sauce. I was charged for the sauce only to drive off and see it's not there. Yes 25 or 40 cents isnt much but I ate a few fries instead of the whole thing. How many times does this happen? How many times do ppl drive off and think it's only a quarter no big deal but dont enjoy what they paid for and arent going to bother turning around d for it wether because of time constraint which was my case or dont want to deal with it. Most dont put up a review and I have not put a review until now. So Ive managed restaurants and bars for years and told my staff if there is a problem always get ahold of me immediately because iv always said it's not the problem but how it is handled that determines wether the customer will return again. The associate greeted me with a smile and eye contact. She welcomed me to McDonalds and offered to take my order. I told her I had a Birthday Reward and wanted to claim it. She treated me like Platinum. I paid for my order, and the associate gave me my receipt. Within one minute, a young red-headed female who delivered my order smiled and asked how I was doing. Later, the associate visited me to ensure I was happy with the food. I visited the restroom and found it very clean and well-maintained. I was surprised to find a keypad entry system on the restroom door and had to gain access by asking my young associate to open it. She gladly did. I recommend the Follansbee, WV McDonald's location and this red-headed associate highly to family and friends. BTW: I just finished reading several negative reviews about this location. I saw nothing bad about it and when I had to use the restroom, my server quickly punched a button behind the counter allowing me access.
