Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Folsom

Really expensive and overpriced. Almost $20 for a small meal and a small blizzard. They take an extremely long time as well and skip your number and serve people who were there after you even though they have like 20 people working inside. (Not even joking) They also didn't serve my sister her blizzard upside down and when she told an employee, the employee started arguing with her and was mad they can't do their job and he told her to "call it out right away next time" with an attitude. The employees aren't too nice at all and the clientele is pretty low class as well, it feels very unsafe in the area. This is the first time I have been back in a few years because last time I ordered a blizzard, they didn't give it to me upside down and the reason was because one of the employees stabbed a hole at the bottom of the blizzard, so when I was driving home, the Blizzard was melting all over my jeans and inside the leather of my car and that's the reason why I haven't been back. I did notice that the employees were staring at my car when I pulled up and I guess jealousy takes its course, if they can't afford something I guess they have to ruin it for somebody else that can. I would stay away from this place, there are better ice cream places and cheaper food with better employees and...

I went to the Dairy Queen at 9295 Greenback Ln, Orangevale, CA I ordered a bacon cheese burger, a regular cheese burger, French fries , onion rings, Chocolate shake and a peanut butter molted. The burgers sucked. The buns were soggy. There was to much souce and it was runny. The patties were to thin and they were over cooked. That goes for both burgers. The fries were hard and very small. They were like frozen from a bag. The onion rings appeared to be the frozen type also, they were brown and not golden they were very over cooked. The Chocolate shake and a peanut butter molted were pretty good. The service was good, the two young ladies that waited on me were very nice and courteous. I waited less than 10 minutes for my order. The entire meal was over priced at $ 21.00 I didn't finish the meal. I will never go to another Dairy...

Went to pick up a cake I ordered and was assaulted by unreasonably sweltering air as I entered the lobby area to pick up the cake. It was so uncomfortable that I almost passed out. It is unfathomably why people were sitting inside to eat their goodies. I understand it was 104 outside, but at least you could breathe, and there was a breeze. Inside, the stench of the non-deodoranted coupled with the humid, hot, unmoving air was nauseating.

I would have walked out if I didn't need the cake for a family member's birthday.

The cake itself was delightfully decorated and tasted fantastic. Best ice cream cake we've ever had.
