We drive from Natomas in Sacramento to go enjoy their South Indian Food. We are a big family so normally go for birthdays special occasions in big group but seems like everyone in family feels the food does not taste as good as it used too. We did not like the food when we went this last Sunday not sure if they have different chef/cook. The reason we drove so far was cuz the dosa used to be so yummy. The sambhar they gave us tiny bowls and even that is like only halfway filled not enjoyable to eat dosa without sambhar and I am not sure if they normally don't have enough Masala but seems like they only put tiny spoon last few times. Dosas were all soft missed that authentic crispy taste. When we used to go there 2-3 years ago the dosa was just so crispy and yummy. The service still is great but they need to work on the quality of food. On a good note the desserts were all yummy especially the gajar halwa ... yummy. I think all the family agrees that we need to look for a new South Indian favorite since last 3 visits were disappointing with the main entree being a hit n miss quality...
Read moreI’m never a fan of large menu restaurants. Small and few food options restaurants always been my favorite as they can keep the quality and taste proper. But I have to try this one as it’s newly opened in folsom.
Atmosphere 5/5 - Ambience is nice. Good number of seating tables. Background music is quite good.
Services 5/5 - Service was excellent, I was seated in few minutes after arrived and server also asked me and gave me feedback card after dinner.
Food 3/5 - This restaurant has verity of south and north indian items. I only liked North indian food here and not the south indian. As I said, too many menu item can’t be perfect in small restaurants. (updated) They need to work on south indian dishes may be. Tomato and Coconut Chatni need to improve Sambar was ok-ok
Price point is good for the quantity. I will surely re-visit and recommend this place to others. Also try food and provide feedback to help...
Read moreAs dedicated carnivores who enjoy meat almost every day, we accidentally stumbled upon this restaurant, and it was the best decision we've made! What sets this place apart is its simplicity; the food is reminiscent of homemade meals and truly transported me back to my roots. Surprisingly, we didn't miss any meat items—it was such an eye-opening and calming experience that we absolutely loved.
The owner clearly has a vision for promoting healthy food, and the ambiance was top-notch.
