So good, you can sign the lease with your eyes closed!
We've been here for three months so far and we love it! Of course don't take an apartment with your eyes closed :D but this is kind of what happened to us. We were in the process of relocation from Europe 3 moths ago and wanted to arrange our new life as much as possible remotely. Having done the research online, checked google maps, reviews and websites of all complexes in Folsom, Iron Point was on the top of our list without any doubt. The main points for us were: My husband works for Intel and the offices are just across the road. Being new to the area and without a car during our first weeks in the country this was the best location. Great amenities and beautiful apartments. Iron Point has an excellent website, which is so easy to use. You will find all the information you need there and can view pictures and floor plans. The complex looks exactly as it appears in the pictures, if not better. The apartments are as shown, just bear in mind they're unfurnished (this is standard here). I loved the pictures on the website, they give you ideas on how to create a stylish home! I love the gym and the clubhouse. Can't wait to use the swimming pool in summer! You can do your grocery shopping and run other errands even without a car. A supermarket and mail services are across the road. All other shopping places are within a short drive. The leasing office ladies were so friendly and helpful since day one, they answered all of my questions over the phone and email and have gone out of their way to arrange everything for us before our arrival. I'm very grateful to Henrike and Julie. So we've done everything online, chose an apartment, sorted out the papers before we've even seen the place. It turned out to be great and exceeded our expectations. The staff here are helpful and lovely. Someone is always in the office if you have any questions, and maintenance requests are dealt with in a matter of hours. If you're not at home your packages will be left in the clubhouse and you will be notified via email. All in all I can say only positive things about Iron Point apartments. Living in a nice and clean place really makes a difference in your life. We've been renting for so many years in different countries and this is the best place for sure. Here renting does not mean you cannot...
Read moreIm a current resident at Iron Point Apartments. I’ve been here for about 3 years. I can honestly say that the service here from the staff and management here has gotten worse and worse……every year. I’ve started looking for a new place but just haven’t found one yet. It started with a pest/ant problem when I first moved in. Couldn’t cook in my kitchen for 3 weeks. The Ants were so bad. Then I tried swimming in the pool in the mornings during pool hours when it was cooler and the maintenance crew was coming in and spraying bleach so heavily that I was breathing it in while sitting on the loungers. They said it was the only time they could do it. Completely disregarded the fact that tenants were using the pool. The first winter I was Here, my heat went out. I was without heat for 5 days….because they have their protocol they have to do step by step even though you could clearly tell what the issue was….which meant they needed to call an outside repair man. And if you by chance get a noisy neighbor …don’t bother trying to address it. They don’t enforce the “no noise” policy at all. They will tell you its a domestic dispute and then you will never hear from them again. But the most awful thing Ive experienced here is that the ceiling fans they have in some of the units, particularly my neighbors below me, are old and outdated. They emit an extremely loud buzzing vibration through my floor that forces me to sleep on my couch since my neighbors sleep with it running all night long…..I’ve asked management to replace it numerous times and even had two people from the staff come in and listen to it…..so far nothing. It’s truly sad that I pay over 2k to sleep on my couch. My advice is to take your money somewhere else. There are nicer newer apartments for the...
Read moreMe and my husband lived in building 5, the team was welcoming when we first moved into our newly renovated apartment.. but the bad out-weighs the good; the first major issues we had was pest problem and everything was breaking down/ not working, it was surprising considering that it was a NEWLY renovated place, its clear that they failed or didn’t do a pre move in inspection. Not only that but the renovation is choppy and seems rushed. But our main problem was our new neighbors that moved in a floor under us specifically apartment 513; what first started as constant door slamming and violently loud arguments later escalated into them looking into our apartments windows, looking in our car windows when they walk their dog.. not to mention when they specifically set up a camera monitoring who leaves and comes home (we live in a corner). Least to say, we felt extremely uncomfortable and concerneded and no matter how many times we reached out to the management with video proof and constant emailing of concerns they were unresponsive and seem to have no concern for the safety or comfort of their tenants. Me and my neighbors have reported multiple serious issues about these residents and not once have they followed up or taken meaningful action. No accountability was taken, as long as we paid our monthly rent, they could not care less for what happened. The property is very nice— , but for the price you pay, my advice is to save your money. It’s not worth paying so much in rent to not feel safe and so unheard and hopeless at your own home .. there are other apartments in Folsom that are nicer and most likely maintained with care for...
