Denny's — Restaurant in Fontana

I live close by so this location was perfect for me. I called in a breakfast order on 9.30.18 before work so I would have time to pick it up and go. I waited about 5 minutes for the young lady to complete another transaction which was not a problem for me. My problem started when she got to me. I told her we had a phone order and she checked the counter and said let me check..................... I watching her the entire time as she starts pulling plates off the line. I thought she was putting my food into togo containers. SHE STARTS SERVING ORVER TABLES AS I WAIT.😶😶😶😶🤨🤨 Now, more guest have started to arrive and the lobby is getting fuller by the minute. No one says "we'll be right with you" or "Hello, good morning" 🤔🤔 to acknowledge their presence. Just looked up at us and kept doin what they were doin. At this point now, I have been waiting a total of 20minutes and still no food. A young lady walks over and places food on the counter behind the register, I ask it that is my order? She says no and walks off. The manager comes and I say I'm leaving! I have to be at work and this is the very reason I called first. He says 1 minutes runs to the back and brings my food. No apologies, no discount, no drink for waiting, Nothing!!! Tells me my total and AFTER AND ONLY AFTER I PAID, "sorry for the wait". My food was COLD which I purchased for my brother and myself. I had to put his in the microwave before I left for work. Mind you I live 3 minutes away. My food was like warm..😡😡😡😡 I have a DENNY'S that's 10 minutes away, I think I'll be making the longer drive...

I ordered and paid online for my family's breakfast while I waited in their lobby. As soon as I got the confirmation that my order was ready I went to the register. They 1st said we never placed an order. After I showed them they then said it had already been picked up. I explained there was no way as I've been sitting g there the whole time and no one has picked up food. Plus i just got confirmation that it was ready. The lady acted like she had no idea what was going on but they proceeded to make the food again. I took my order only to then find out all the bacon and sausage were missing. It was a lot since I ordered a family meal. I came back in with my bag to show them it was missing part of my order. The guy at the register asked if he can help me. I told him my order was not right. He rolled his eyes and called the same lady as before to help me. I told her my order was not right she immediately walked to the counter and brought my containers with bacon and sausage. So they knew that they didn't pack it and said nothing. Meanwhile our food got cold. I got home and had to re heat it all. This is the closest location to me but I won't...

Let's just be honest about Denny's you get what you pay for as far as quality goes. Don't get me wrong there are some items on the menu that are pretty good. Some of the items I can actually eat and enjoy but I always leave Daddy's with a stomach ache because of the grease in their food. Make sure you never ever order anything pasta related from Denny's you will be gravely disappointed just as I was when I ordered my spaghetti it taste it honestly like they had over cups of spaghetti was sitting on the bottom of a pot for a long time and then how do you most basic possible tomato sauce from a can that's through it on top without seasoning and cooking it anything and then put it on a plate warmer and when I told this to the staff in the restaurant literally there was one kid who was laughing he couldn't help it because he knew how I was describing it was correct.
