This place is amazing. I don't give this rating often, especially to a low key restaurant. However, being a trucker, I know that truckers know where the good food is. 1 rule amongst truckers, you can't go eating at places that make you run to the restroom. We have long hauls and can't afford frequent stops for long periods. Thud we need food to be of great quality. Even if it is fast food. I'm speaking for most and not all truckers. Some can eat junk and endure. Fact you can't get large groups of truckers to stop for junk food. This place stops the majority of truckers that pass by it. Plus they open a side covered stand area that keeps serving into the twilight hours. That is a lifesaver when you're starving on a 14hr run and headed home and need a quality hot meal. This place delivers, from street tacos of all types including queso birria with dipping sauce, burritos, multitasking, and even the Mexican Cokes to wash it down. Pretty much whatever you can come up with in a Mexican cuisine they serve. Only issue I have is that the main group that gathers to patronize the establishment aren't too kind so it's best to I order to go. Other than that and it's location, south of the 10fwy on Slover between Cherry and Citrus, not many people know where they are. Once you find them, be sure to locate the sauce bar and be ready to contain your salsas, chilies/onions, and beans yourself while you wait. All in all this is a great place to eat, and, once you learn what you like, the food is...

Went here today with my sister. To start off, the cashier was very unwelcoming. It was our first time there and off the bat wasn't feeling good vibes. We took our order "to go" and when we got home I noticed that they didn't give me any salsa with my tacos. Because it was a "to-go" order, I was expecting them to put it in the bag, especially considering that the bag was tied. Wasn't sure if there was a stand for toppings but they didnt mention anything of the sort. When I bit into a taco, I noticed that it didn't really taste like anything, it was hard to tell if they added any salt to the meat. In addition, the tacos had little to no cilantro or onions. My sister got one sope, which she told me was definitely not worth $5 because it didn't taste like anything special. We also got churros, which were okay, we weren't such a huge fan of the filling. Nevertheless, they did have plenty of seats, a wide menu option, and a short wait...

I recommended this place to my friend so we went after her daughters graduation. As we get there another family was ordering ahead of us also from the graduation. When we placed our order we we t sat down the family ahead of us started getting their food and eating before we knew it more people were ordering and getting the food before us. We went to the person serving the tacos and said the were dispatching smaller orders cuz ours was bigger this was more than 30 minutes later after ordering mind you I have kids and they were starving already. Once we got our food finally after over a 30 minutes wait which the other family was already done with their food and gone it was not as good as expected as I had remembered will not be recommending or going back again. My kids caveza tacos were soggy like crazy cuz they threw the meat with a bunch of water, my pastor tacos were...

Located on the corner of Slover Ave and Hemlock Ave (not to be confused with the Sierra Ave location), with plenty of parking in the back. We've been coming to Villa Villa for many years now because of their authentic taste and welcoming staff. I usually order tacos and/or burritos, which are made in fresh, handmade tortillas... but they also serve Tortas, Sopes, Mulitas, Quesabirria, Tamales, even Champurrado (tastes homemade), and more delicious Mexican traditional food. We usually go on weekend nights, so we order from their cart as they set up in the patio, which is super cool. It reminds me of the taco stands in TJ. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and it always looks clean.

Been coming here ever since we moved into the area and we loved it. Large portions of good flavored food for reasonable price made them amazing value. But we've been noticing lately that they've been becoming more "corporate". Clean uniforms and visible managers is nice but the smaller portion sizes and blander flavors are not. One pound burrito feels closer to .75 pound now. I hope this trend stops. Fries used to fill the whole container and come with sour cream and guacamole. Now they are a thin single layer covering 3/4 of the thin side of the container and no sour cream and guacamole. Otherwise we'll need a new place.

I been eating at this place since 2017 now it is getting worst not once not twice. Lately it seems as if they always rush every order especially if you order later in the night. The chicken is very dry and burned. The last time I was there we spoke with Ramon and I mentioned that I had bad experience in past such as leftover burned and dry chicken in my order. When you spend over $50 your order and you’re not satisfied it feels like a waste you money. I’ve always loved this place but lately I’ve been dissatisfied and disappointed every time. I want to keep coming back so please change or cook or stop burning the chicken.
