AJ's Pork Belly and Lamb — Restaurant in Forest Grove

I came to AJ’s for the first time some 9 months ago. Now, it became my happy reward after a long week :) Their food is ABSOLUTELY amazing! I can’t believe that I’m eating such high quality for the price. The lamb is to die for and the pork belly makes my mouth water. Do try their chilli! It’s full of meat! And on the weekend you can get a homemade cornbread. Btw, I never expected that I would find a coleslaw that I would actually like.

Today stopped by and saw AJ's and had to try it. I had the Cuban and the coleslaw. The Cuban was amazing. The smoked pulled pork, the bacon, pickled onions, and mayo/mustard & cheese. It was absolutely perfect. Best Cuban I've had in years. The slaw was also awesome. Very thinly sliced tender cabbage, paper thin bell pepper, and a slight bit of heat from jalapenos. I had the 3 meat plate of lamb, pork belly, and pulled pork. All 3 not bad. Belly could’ve used more spices for flavor but was cooked well. The lamb was good. The pulled pork had the most flavor. Great sauces! Coleslaw was boring. Very friendly service. Also, you get a boatload of meat, very good...
