My tips and service go here. My only suggestion would be that when you have meat-based dishes (lamb and chicken specifically) I've often been shorted on meat despite paying extra for it. I'll only get 2-3 small, tiny pieces. If this can be remedied, I would be happy to give 5 stars. Customer service has always been kind. Sometimes they are out of dishes, but I don't mind because it's a cart. It's going to happen.
Edit: I did not mean that I paid for extra meat on items that already had a meat option. What I meant is the vegetarian dishes are less costly because of the lack of meat, which makes sense and it's still delicious. If I am paying $13 for paneer curry, I always get a lovely amount of paneer, 5-6 chunky pieces, but if I pay $16.00 for the lamb curry, or just $14.00 for chicken curries, I'm blessed if I get 2-3 small pieces. Half the size and half the amount of the paneer. The quality of the food is wonderful, but attention is needed when it comes to quantity of protein(s) put into the curry and I hope you don't use less paneer in the future because of this. I hope this explains things a little better. Other than that, we appreciate your hard-working employees and...
Read moreI always feel compelled to leave a review when it’s either really bad or really good. Well let me tell you, this cart has the best Indian cuisine I’ve ever had. I mean absolutely tasty. I had butter chicken and garlic naan. I ordered mine spicy and it was perfect, with a nice zip, but not so hot that it ruined the flavor. They put cilantro on the naan and it’s on point. I haven’t seen that before and it’s a game changer. The gal that helped us was friendly and efficient. They give you a beeper and you can go walk around while they prepare your food FRESH. It took about 10-15 minutes and it was well worth it. I’d much rather wait a few minutes than get something that’s been sitting in a steam table. Well done. Can’t wait to try a different...
Read moreI usually stay away from food carts when doing reviews but I had to write one for Heart of India. I ordered the Chicken Tiki Masala with Basmati rice and Samosa. I often order spicy as it usually has some more flavor than mild, but this was definitely SPICY; made my eyes sweat. Nevertheless, it was wonderful! The Samosa was larger than any other one I've ever had (order contained two and I could only eat one and only 1/2 of the Masala order). It cost $20 but was enough for two people with average appetites. Definitely enough for a man's large appetite. This food truck is in a lot with Zesti Food Trucks on Yew St. in Forest Grove, Oregon and most assuredly the place to...
