I'm new to Atlanta and have been craving Greek food for a good while. This is close to work so I decided to check it out. Falafel pitas are my go-to because I'm vegetarian, so obviously these usually dictate my opinion. I ordered the falafel wrap, a side of dolmades, and Greek potatoes. I was really looking forward to the potatoes because of how everyone talks about them, but mine were lackluster; they were bland and in dire need of extra salt and seasoning. The falafel wrap: I asked for spicy sauce and there was absolutely nothing spicy about it - it tastes like plain cucumber sauce. The falafel itself is very good, but as a combination in the wrap there's something missing. I think feta cheese and actual spicy sauce would make it so much better. The dolmades were delicious though as well as the sauce that came with the potatoes. I do find it a bit surprising that no cucumber sauce comes with the dolmades as almost any place I've been to serves them together. So a star off for the bland potatoes and another star off for an okay falafel wrap. Will try again some other time in hopes that the bland potatoes were a one time...
Read moreI ordered the gyro plate with the side salad and potatoes, as well as a drink. About $12 total. Let me say there were enough potatoes for my 3y/o and I to both eat and still have some left over for a snack later, and they were good! The salad was tasty with a tangy, velvety, oil based dressing, and we both ate that all up! I ate the gyro myself, and they were generous with the meat, tomatoes, onion and Greek sauce (all of which comes standard on the gyro). I asked them to wrap it for me, and they did so well I was able to eat it with minimal mess despite the copious amount of deliciousness they managed to fit inside it. Honestly, just the gyro would've been a meal in itself for me, but really glad I got to enjoy the potatoes and salad too. The staff, tho busy cooking, immediately acknowledge me and apologized for the wait (less than 3 minutes). I highly recommend this resturant's location for service, value and food! Also, my order was ready to go before I finished filling my drink, so fast and good for take-out, or small...
Read moreCame here twice in one day and that's exactly where I messed up. First order I did a pick up and the greeting was whatever but I didn't care because I was in and out. Now while the food was pretty good way too heavy on the amount of meat compared to veggie ratio but to eat their own with their health choices. I came in a few hours later to get another wrap and from the person taking my order who had the most stoic face ever didn't even look like he wanted to press a few buttons to take my order, down to the woman who was making the wrap. All I asked for was less meat and more Lettuce and she acTed like I was asking for the world. To then open my wrap it was excessively saucy and same amount of meat now just with ridiculously soggy Lettuce. Going forward I will be going to more "authenticated" Mediterranean places to obtain my gyro or hummus. Very unfortunate that I went back to support and got worse service than my original...
