When placing our order the cashier didn't place the order accurately which in turn created an over charge. Upon calling the store back the manager did not do anything about the situation beside defend the store or employees. I just wanted the problem fixed. I wanted 2 sandwiches off the 2 for $4 menu, instead I got charged full price for one sandwich and then they made my other into a meal. So the second sandwich was 3.99. If I had known that I would not have even order the second sandwich. I also didn't have egg on my sausage sandwich, which they placed in the system wrong for ordering. I just wanted my sandwich fixed and the pricing fixed for what we originally ordered. I have had such a horrible experience there I have become angry. I am always easy going but this location has really struck a nerve. I wanted to go to a different location because they always take so long but it was on my way to our destination. Next time I will back track to Vassar McDonald's, they always take such great care of us there. I got very angry of the way they handled my order and how I was treated over the phone. I even called Vassar McDonald's and asked them about the 2 for $4 sandwiches. I was told at Otisville location they have to be the same sandwich, you cannot mix and match them with the other 2 sandwiches on the 2 for $4 menu. Read moreI would recommend skipping this McDonald's and going to Davison for the following reasons.
Location isn't conducive to traffic pattern. The drive thru blocks traffic for the gas pumps and/or traffic on the road. Appropriate staffing doesn't support the efficiency of moving the volume of cars in the drive thru and causes Additional congestion by moving orders "to the side" The accuracy of the order appears to also be affected by the limited staffing. Numerous times my order has been incorrect. Since the drive thru isn't conducive and the phone isn't answered, I spend additional time waiting in line to explain my order was incorrect. When greeted, I was berated about why this was my error. Client Service doesn't appear to be a skill set that is trained upon. I don't expect to be always right. However, when my receipt supports my order, I would anticipate my food to support the order recorded on the receipt.
I would hope that this was a one time error regarding experience but it has been consistent at each visit. If you cannot wait until Davison to eat, I'd recommend going through the drive thru at Subway (30 seconds away from...
Read moreThis place is an absolute clown house. The orders usually take FOREVER and the level of incompetence is disturbing. If they screw up your order and you say something about it they get bent out of shape and act like you've just insulted a piece of handmade artwork they created. We've received burgers that look like someone had stepped on them, the smashed bun and patties were slid half off. This morning we wanted a big breakfast and another order of eggs for my daughter, when the order was brought to the counter the second order of eggs was absent. It was questioned, the girl said they were in the big breakfast, it was then explained that they were for someone else. She then proceeded to open the big breakfast back up and dump half the eggs into a disgusting cardboard nuggets box, all the while the manager was standing right near her. I have been to dirtier Franchises in some of THE WORST ghettos and still managed to get better service and quality of food.
