Hong Kong Palace Asian Restaurant — Restaurant in Forsyth

I literally just ordered from this place.. and boy what a mistake… this is my first and last time ever ordering from this restaurant. The only thing they seemed to have gotten correct was the fried egg roll. I asked for ORANGE chicken, both a side of fried rice AND vegetables and this is what I got. the order I received was lemon chicken. Not orange. And never have I gone to a “hibachi” that puts a mediocre amount of vegetables in the rice. It’s usually two separate sides, which I clearly asked for I honestly just want a refund on this entire order. Such a disappointment.

UPDATE I went back to the restaurant in an attempt to get a refund and the manager had the AUDACITY to stand there and argue that the order was correct. I don’t know what kind of mutated oranges you have over there in china but I have never seen a yellow colored orange 😂. I hate to burst anyone’s bubble but arguing with your customers is not going to earn you a good reputation, profit and keep you in business. Considering you need customers and our money to keep your establishment open. At this rate your doors will be closing very soon and hopefully Forsyth will FINALLY get a Chic-Fil-A. It’s been over 5 hours and my “refund” is still not returned to my card. Pretty sure I was scammed but anyway, definitely won’t be returning or recommending this...

Been enjoying the chinese buffet here for years but decided to give the hibachi and sushi a try. We went on a Saturday. Not crowded at all. Everyone was very friendly and very big on making sure we enjoyed our experience. We ordered steamed goyza, cheese ragoons, hibachi soup, hibachi chicken, chicken lomein and 3 types of sushi. Husband and daughter said the sushi was good. Only complaint was it lacked traditional Tobiko topping. The hibachi was also good. Veggies had a little too much pepper for my liking and the fried rice was a bit bland but once mixed together and added yum yum sauce it was all very good. Noodles were very good. The hibachi chicken was cooked and flavored to perfection and comparable to some of the high priced Japanese restaurants we've frequented over the years. Only complaint for me was that they don't have the traditional salad with ginger dressing. Was a bit pricey ($70+tip) which is to be expected with any hibachi and sushi but still not as pricey as others and brought home lots of food. Everything on hot bar was not hot. Some items were barely warm, but most was cold. I told them they neede to check heat wells. I was very concerned about this. It is a high risk for bacteria. They acted very un-concered! Owner even tried to throw blame on that i got to much food at once an that why It cold. I told her i had just fixed my plate an 1st bite of food was cold. It come cold straight of the bar. She turned around an just walked off!!! She was rude an un- concerned that she could make people sick! Nor did she even bother checking heat wells. My server was apologetic for her bosses reaction an response. She brought me a fresh order of everything as i wanted. But this made my time stretch out to get the food that should have been hot. Very un- unacceptable to serve food like this an risking making someone very sick an not even caring...
