SAVE YOUR MONEY AND EAT SOMEWHERE ELSE!
I've tried. I've tried and tried and tried to like this place. Usually the food is ok, tonight's order was atrocious though. The delivery service is horrendous. Twice now I've placed an order online and was told both times that my order would be delivered in an hour and both times I've ended up waiting for over two hours after having to call and find out where my food was. Tonight I was told they didn't have my order. When I explained I wanted my money back suddenly they have my order in front of them. I've been told that there is "Something wrong' with their computer/printer. If that was the case the first time, six months ago, wouldn't you think they'd have corrected the issue? Apparently not.
Let's talk about the food I got tonight. The cold rolls were warm and the warm food wasn't. The prawns were mushy and the noodle dish was a soggy, mushy mess with little flavor other than "spicy" and not even a recognizable "spicy" such as Sriracha or something it was just hot...and I ordered my dish mild.
I'm done ordering from this place. I'm done going there. I can't send my food back because it was delivered and I have no car tonight which is why I placed a delivery order in the first place. I want my money back for the awful, inedible food but can't get it because I can't get there. I'm tossing away $20 + worth of food that's how bad this was. * called to talk to the manager and got a woman on the phone who would only say she was sorry and offer me free food. I'm not eating there again, I don't want free food that isn't good. *
I wish I could give them a lower ranking but the site won't let me go lower than one star so one star it is. Please take it from me and go somewhere else....anywhere else. The deliver kid was nice and apologized but if that was the best part of the experience something is...
Read moreFirst of all I am not one to rate a restaurant bad over one bad experience, but when a manager laughs in your face insisting that the customer is wrong, that is a different story.
I had placed two orders of Pad Thai for takeout. One with chicken that was supposed to be #1 mild. The other was beef with #2 medium. We go in to pick up the order, and while we are waiting for the order to come out, a girl walks in the door saying she had the wrong order. Usually this is not important, but just wait. We take the food home and open it up. The chicken order of Pad Thai is extremely spicy, and the beef Pad Thai has zero spiciness to it. So we call them up and tell them the story..blah blah blah. They insist that we told them a chicken Pad Thai with #2 medium and a beef Pad Thai #2 medium. On top of that, they refuse to give us our money back, they will only remake it for us.
Five minutes later I am in there arguing with the manager. She is telling me that I am wrong and that she took the right order. I've worked in a restaurant for many years, and I was always taught that the customer is always right. What ever happened to that? She then tells me that the girl that came in before me did not have a wrong order, which really doesn't make sense because why else would she bring the to-go order back to the restaurant? So I tell her that even if she took the order right, the order would still be wrong. She argued with me about this for five minutes straight. Meanwhile she is doing this sarcastic laugh thing that should never come out of a restaurant managers mouth. After being in there for nearly 10 minutes of arguing, she decided that she would refund the money.
Part of what defines a restaurant is how they handle it when they screw up. Please forgive the wordy review, but this is not how a restaurant...
Read moreI've been eating here for the past 5 years or so. Before it was very good, but seems this places food is going downhill fast. It use to be my favorite Thai place. A couple times I've been in the food tasted funny, the peppers tasted like soap to me. The portions seemed to get smaller and smaller. Today was probably the last time I eat there. I ordered one of my favorite dishes, the golden cashew. It came and started eating it and noticed there was not one single cashew in the whole dish. I asked the waitress if they were out of cashews, and she said they were not. I asked her if she got my order wrong, and she did not. So she went back and brought me a small tin dish with about 6 cashews in it, uncooked and very dry. I don't like to complane about my food, but the cashew is kind of the main ingredient of cashew chicken. So I paid, left a 2 dollar tip and said Farwell to what use to be a great Thai place... Farwell simply Thai, I think you are simply losing your touch.. It wasn't just today but a slow decline over the last...
