Read moreI have been here 30 times and have brought friend's from Europe and family to this wonderful place but Sunday evening it was not that great. The waiter Was pretty pushy and we ordered our drinks and calamari and waited. I’d say about 30 minutes for our calamari and it came out cold and of course in order to know it was cold. We ate some and told the waiter, we were disappointed in it because it was cold he didn’t say anything but all through that way he kept asking us to order our entrée we kept telling him no we wanted our calamari first then our dinner came out. I had ordered The shrimp basket my french fries were cold, but my shrimp was hot. Then we got our bill for two it totaled $99.90 they had added an $18.79 gratuity to it so I went inside to ask them to take the gratuity off and they said they wouldn’t do it because it states on the menu that they had a gratuity I didn’t see that but two people have a hamburger with onion rings and a shrimp basket a margarita a small glass of wine and the calamari that was cold $99.90 was just too much money to pay I used to love to come to this restaurant and especially to bring all of our friends from Europe. There were times that we would have a table of nine or 10 and I think that our bill was 200 and something but we were never charged her gigantic gratuity like that and I always tip but this time they didn’t deserve no $18.90 so please beware if you’re going to this...
Read moreSuper upset with everything about this place. I ordered and sandwich and a salad. While we were waiting for our food the sever never came back to ask if I needed a new water as it was already gone. Finally the food comes out. The salad is wrong (I asked for not tomatoes or peppers) she takes it back and I start to eat my sandwich. Which mind you was dry as eating sand. Mind you I still have no water. I took my boyfriends now iceless water because it was so hot. To the point it was warm water. I eat half the sandwich and the server finally comes back and says oh you still don’t have your salad. She starts to walk away I say excuse me because I was going to ask for a sauce so I can put it on the dry sandwich and she looks back and just gives me the wait a second finger. Which I was shocked by. My salad comes back and she tells me it’s been sitting in the back. I told her about my sandwich and she says “well you ate half of it” and walks away. My boyfriend and I both have nothing to drink. I had to walk up to the bar and talk to someone who said they would talk to her and handle the bill. Which wasn’t what I was looking for I was more interested in ordering something different but it was never offered. They took half the sandwich off my bill. I also had to walk inside and have someone else take my card because the server never came back. My entire week I spent in Fort Lauderdale this was the by far...
