Sunshine Jerk and Grill — Restaurant in Fort Pierce

Was at an event on June 1 at the St Lucie Fairgrounds and walked around looking at all the different food truck options. Sunshine Jerk & Grill was our top pic even though there were other BBQ options. The owner was smoking some ribs when we walked up and it smelled perfect. My girlfriend ordered a Baby Back Rib meal with beans and potato salad and I ordered the brisket meal with beans and cabbage and veggies. The portion size was plenty for each of us and our bellies were happily full. OMG the brisket was tender enough to cut with a fork and the flavor was out of this world. The ribs were smoked perfectly. The sides were delicious as well as the BBQ sauce (the hot had just enough spice for me and I like hot). The service was friendly and fast and we will definitely go back when we see them. In fact i went back to let them know how we both loved the meals and their faces were glowing as I told them how awesome we thought the meals were. 5 stars

Ms Audrey and Mr Michael were most hospitable. They were patient with me and generously shared samples. The conversation was pleasant and informative.

The ribs were moist and tender with a good flavor.

The brisket was moist and tender as well.

I didn't care for the chicken or potato salad but, I don't have anything negative to say about them.

The beef patty was also rather flavorful.

I look forward to returning to this establishment. I'm happy to support small business especially those with excellent customer service.

Sunshine Jerk & Grill is absolutely incredible! Mike and his team never disappoint.
