I recently had an opportunity to try the tacos and bowls at this restaurant, and unfortunately, my experience was underwhelming. We decided to order bowls topped with fajita veggies, but what we received were merely raw red onions, lacking any seasoning or cooking that would have enhanced their flavor. This left us disappointed, as we were expecting a vibrant mix of sautéed peppers and onions that usually brighten up a dish.

Moreover, the portion sizes for the bowl were surprisingly small, especially considering the price point. I expected a hearty serving that would be filling, but what I got felt more like a side dish than a main meal. It was hard to justify spending that much for such a scant amount of food.

As for the tacos, I found the pricing to be excessive compared to their overall quality. Each taco felt overpriced for what was essentially a bland offering, without any standout flavors or ingredients that would make me want to come back for more.

To add to our culinary disappointment, the chips were stale and lacked that satisfying crunch you hoped for. The food was great. I got a bowl with beef barbacoa and my wife got a quesadilla. Much better than the other build your own bowl places like chipotle. Greater selection of ingredients and greater tasting. The only thing I would’ve preferred different would be not having grocery store Mexican blend shredded cheese but rather having a more authentic queso or melting cheese it really would’ve been the cherry on top with the food here. Walked in to a clean and lovely little slice of heaven curated by the most lovely of ladies and her polite gentleman of a son, got to talking about locality and family as my lunch was prepared.
