Pizza King — Restaurant in Fort Wayne

I'm typically understanding of delays on receiving my order when any restaurant is busy. I arrived 35 minutes after placing my order to ensure they'd have time to get it out; although the quoted time over the phone was 30 minutes. It took several minutes for the cashier to get back to the register and take payment when I arrived. No big deal as I was told my order wasn't ready yet anyways.

A half hour later they say my order is ready and I watch them take it off the counter where it had been sitting since before I initially arrived. The cashier gave me a sarcastic remark about remaking my order after I had just wasted 30 minutes sitting around watching my food get cold. The worst part is, I saw this exact same scenario happen to at least 2 other patrons in the duration I was waiting. Service was terrible, and I could hear the kitchen staff arguing the entire time. Saw them not wear gloves when handling food and cross contaminate from the register after touching several people's pizza. The food was a room temperature disappointment that I ended up tossing out. I would stick to the other chains, unfortunately these guys don't know what they're doing. Their pricing is also ridiculous, the quality ranked lower than Little Caesars and my order was $32 for a large royal...

Hello. I was recently back in Ft. Wayne for the funeral of my mom. Over the last year of her illness, my sister and I would go to Pizza King each month as I visited. Unfortunately, it never seemed to be busy, and I frankly did not understand how it managed to stay in business. Well, the week before last, my sister and I went in for our regular visit, and what a difference that was! Our server was Clark, this fantastic guy with an even more amazing attitude. I believe he told us he was an assistant manager. The food that night was excellent, and the service was fantastic. I asked for the names of the two back in the kitchen: Skyla and Sierra. Honestly, this trio can draw folks back into this location. I hope the parent company of Pizza King values them, and I just wanted to say kudos to them for their efforts in addressing issues. I thanked them that night but felt it was right to thank them with this review....

Absolutely the worst pizza I have ever had from this location. The toppings were not to the edge as advertised. The edges were mainly a touch of sauce and some cheese. Most of the sauce was just in the center of the pie along with the toppings, what little there was. The crust was terrible. First, it was extremely thin, like they took a 12 or 14 inch dough and tried to stretch it into a 16 inch. The texture of the crust was like thin cardboard. It tasted like something that had been deep fried in old oil. The pizza had been removed from the oven, left on the cutting table for some time before being sliced. The slices were very uneven and not cut all the way through. We even had trouble cutting the crust once at home. ( This was a carry out order) Employees were in dirty clothes, was a little concerned that they didn't wear hats or hair nets..... just didn't seem very...
