Horrible and despicable behavior of the owner Asmat. I had been waiting for the past 6 months for this kabab house to open, but I was treated like dirt. I went in around 4:03 pm, ordered Chapli kabab and asked how long it would take. The cashier said” 5 minutes.” I then asked about the chicken biryany and he said thst would also take 5 minutes. I waited for 15, then 20 minutes, only to be told that it would take another 5 minutes. Finally, at 4:20 pm, I couldn’t wait any linger since I had to drive 45 minutes to Keller and the highway was already busy. When I told them I had to leave, the owner had a meltdown! He started cussing me out, saying,” He knew my type,” even using the F word. I told him he was being very rude and he couldn’t treat anyone like that in America. Finally, his staff had to restrain him and whisk him away, apologizing to me. And to think he would actually be sorry for not keeping his time- commitment. I would advise everybody to steer clear of this place as the owner himself has no idea about how to treat his customers, let alone a first-time customer. I guess that’s how Afghan men treat their women(?) He is lucky I didn’t...

Myself and 3 coworkers decided to eat here for a celebration for a promotion. We were greeted warmerly. Our orders were taken promptly and we were informed that it would be at least 10min before the food would be ready as it was made fresh. As we sat waiting we were offered a complimentary tea. The tea was smooth and flavourful. Once our food arrived, none of us were disappointed. The food was definitely fresh, smelling very fragant. The goat tikka I ordered was tender, juicy, and the best goat I've had. Our group was offered a rice dish from the kitchen, Kabuli Pulao. It was a delicious savory, slightly sweet dish that I would definitely order on its own. I cannot wait to return to this establishment to try their other offerings. The food high quality. The services from the owners and staff was in the top 5 of any restaurant I've visited. I would recommend this place to anyone that has had Afghan food or wanting to venture out and try something new.

To the owners and staff, thank you for a great experience, I look forward to trying every item...

Just had an amazing experience at Afghan Halal Meat & Kabab House. Right from the moment you step in, the warmth and hospitality of the staff make you feel right at home.

The kababs are a must-try – juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, showcasing the premium quality of halal meats they use. Every dish we tried was a hit, packed with fresh ingredients and authentic spices that take your taste buds on a journey.

The restaurant is adorned with traditional textiles, colorful rugs, and hand-painted pictures, celebrating Afghanistan’s rich culture. It offers a unique dining section with authentic Afghan cushions and low tables, creating a dining experience that’s truly one of a kind.

Whether you’re already a fan of Afghan cuisine or curious to try something new, Afghan Halal Meat & Kabab House is a 10/10. I’m definitely dropping by again and would recommend anyone in the DFW area to...

Worst Buffet Experience Ever – Cold Food, Dirty Tables, and Poor Service We came here as a group of 10, expecting hot, fresh buffet food. As soon as we started eating, we realized the food was cold, but by then, we had already begun. The tables were dirty, and there were flying bugs around. The buffet had no hot food refills at all. When we asked for fresh food, the staff refused and told us we would have to order separately from the menu. For a buffet, this is unacceptable. Extremely poor hygiene, service, and value. Definitely not coming back.

Hidden gem! Great food and amazing service. They went above n beyond to accommodate us (group of 16). Tried pretty much everything on the menu and it was all fantastic. Special mention for the Kadhai (both chicken and goat), Tikka Boti, Chapli and the Khubaali pulao. Will be back to support local business!

Waited 30 minutes for a takeout order. Ordered chicken kabob with rice bread and salad. Got a few chicken kabob wrapped in a large piece of naan with the weakest attempt at a salad, no rice and they charged me $20 for this. I wouldn't come back if they paid me to eat their flavorless dry kabobs
