Beto's isn't what it used to be years ago. The menudo had so much fat I could tell that it wasn't cleaned with much attention. The meat's texture was way too soft. Flavor is just ok, but u cant enjoy it bc of the first two points. I should have listened to my Northside friends. Don't go to Betos. If you want a more consistently good experience, go to La Michoacana down the road. They even give you pata de res o de puerco! And they don't charge you extra, $2, for the cilantro, onion , lemons? , and tortillas. They didn't give me the cilantro so I had to ask my wonderful neighbor...

My husband and I have been in search for the best menudo in Fort Worth for the longest time. Well we made our stop here and found the golden ticket!!! We were welcomed and told them we had been told that their menudo was one of a kind. Boy did they blow me away! Their waitress was so nice to us and so attentive and we expressed our passion for foods and breakfast dining. This food far exceeded my taste and reminded me of my moms. We will definately be back and we highly recommend to anyone wanting good Mexican cuisine that is fire.đŸ”„ This place has a passion for food and community.

I visited this place in honor of my father who has passed away in 2013 because of cancer. We used to drive here on Sunday mornings and buy enough Menudo for us. At one point, I think they served sweet bread, but that might be a mixed memory of a place down the street that probably doesn’t exist anymore. I haven’t been here in over three decades. This place hasn’t changed since I was a kid. Spread kindness and connect with people. Thanks for the memories.

Hope my comment helps the owner and those Foodies out there wanting to try it out. Have to try the best to worst in order to know good quality.

The Bisteck (Beef Steak) was surprisingly legit, given the size of the steak, I was expecting 2 small peices of beef skirts. Steaks felt like I was at a cook out. Tacos were okay, given that it's a restaurant I was expecting hand made tortillas. The competition out here is real, hand made tortillas should be a must.

Everyone comments on the menudo, its slightly below average. The tripe didn't look appealing, low quality, not as clean. Lacked spicy flavor to it. And the store bought tortillas don't help. The onions that are given on the side were old, you can tell by the soggyness. Menudo takes time to pick out the fat, make good cuts on tripe, clean it properly, with a balanced flavor in the soup, and add fresh condiments to it. And fresh hand made tortillas, too much to ask for?

Environment needs some TLC, unless this your type of spot in cleaningness. Chair and table covers were torn. Table cloth was showing, clearly needs replacement, but you can tell it's been there a while since the cloth thats showing is no longer white but a shade of gray.

No Aguas Fresscas, it was said, "we ran out".

Being open just on weekends, to run out of Aguas frescas and not have hand made tortillas.?

Spot has potential, but lacks motivation from...

The only good thing out of this restaurant is probably the menudo. Everything else of the menu is overpriced for the amount they give you.

I got tacos tapatios one time, and there was literally probably less than an ounce of meat in total. I know they're not supposed to have a lot of meat in the first place, but this was just so noticeably bad. I asked if they could redo my tacos, and they gave me attitude for it. When they redid them, they hardly put more meat. It was nearly the same amount. I ended up ordering something else because I was with a group, but I couldn't even get a refund for that order even if I didn't eat from it.

I don't recommend this place, especially for tacos/flautas where they try to hide how much meat they are...
