Burger Box — Restaurant in Fort Worth

I grew up going to burger box with my grandmother and have some pretty awesome memories in these places… so I decided to share this place for the first time with my wife… first off, order was wrong, we ordered 4 finger steak basket and a 3 piece chicken… we got two three piece chickens & w/o gravy. Drove back to get the order fixed, and waited however long, they still forgot gravy again. I wanted to trust them so I made it to the light which turned red (thankfully) so I decided to check the bag, no gravy… drove back waited again, and then after getting home my food tasted like artificial banana flavor like they put in their shakes. Also thanks for down grading my tenders and giving me the smallest ones in the bag. Y’all really know how to make people feel special. I’m totally over this place. Thank you for reminding me that memories are only as great as we make them for ourselves, and it’s not driven by the quality of service or quality of food. We won’t be going back...

The food was pretty good. If I could change something it would be not over cook/grill in the meat. It seemed to me like it was just a bit over grilled. If they grill the meat on that Skillet top thing a little bit less I think the meat would taste a lot better. The fries were pretty good and the sweet tea was great. Pretty good service too. If you are not a fan of having the meat cook the life out of it then you may look elsewhere. Or if you're just too curious, see about asking them to not grilling meat too much. My burger bun was a little bit burned too. So, the the meat and the bun are a tad too charred. I think if it wasn't for those two things it would actually be a pretty perfect burger. I'm going to try their 2/3 pound next time. If the second time is not a flop, then I may I go back again. If they can make it not so burned then I can see myself coming back here often. It kind of rivals Whataburger if it gets...

Been coming here for years always had great service and good food. today I called at 8:24 for a call in order they told me they stop taking call ins 20 minute before close .whenever I got there I went ahead and ordered my food and I asked the lady at the window what time they close she said at 9 p.m. Well I called at 8:24 and they wasn't taking no more call ins that's not 20 minutes till and the time that's on their window and on their website says they close at 9:30 p.m. I pointed that out to her she said well that's their. Summer hours then they need to state that on the website and the window and if they stop taking call ins. 20 till then that's what time they need to stop taking their call ins I'm pretty sure it's Under New Management or ownership because I've never had nobody not let me call in on the way home...
