I purchased a number 4, a craving box and a Fritos burrito from this location I broke open my Frito burrito after me and my 2 year old ate the Mexican pizza upon breaking the top of my Fritos burrito I seen this long skinny thing fall down hanging so IMMEDIATELY I was like WHAT IN THE WORLD Spit out what I was eating I then get a napkin to see if it was fat or something so it pulls out still in tact i began vomiting instantly so I exam it then have my son come to look and see what it was shaking and all my son tells me the same thing I knew what it was A WORM I called to speak with the manager to tell them what I found in my food i explained we ate the mexican pizza so we dont know what all we jist put in our bodies when I told the manager he was silent then told me oh my I do apologize would you like me to remake your food I immediately told him NO i told him he should not sell that meat he then ask me what time was it on my receipt I told him 7:54p he replied oh well that has been sold already so i said oh my God so many people will be sick and Not know what they have ate when I took the food back with everything there he came put on gloves to look at it he was quiet then he says it's fat in the meat bit it's always much bigger than this I don't know what this is then silent again while touching and trying to mash it like fat in which IT WASN'T then he says oh it's fat I which IT WASN'T fat at all it was a Bait/worm so I guess he didn't want me to keep it he tore it up in pieces and then squished it or tried to and kept it and gave my money back I vomited all in the parking lot was very sick and Ill I couldn't even get into my car from vomiting sweating weak and the sad part I haven't been able to eat right ever since. Ā Ā Ā Read moreOn 7-15-2023, I came to the California parkaway Taco Bell location where i got a drink thrown in my face by an assistant manager . I have never been through anything like this in my entire life. I happened to be doordashing when this situation took place. After the manager fled the scene, The police was called but only to tell me itās nothing they can do about him throwing a drink in my face.( I called his boss to report him because thatās clearly assault). But since this incident has happened no one from Taco Bell has not apologized to me or done anything to make me feel better about this terrible situation. It makes me think that they donāt care about things like this at all and is pretty much ok with their employees/ managers behaving and treating their customerās like this. Never in my life have I ever dealt with something like this , he was very racist and mean !!! Despite my efforts to be polite and respectful, the lady taking my order seemed impatient and uninterested in listening to me, as always. I value good customer service, and it's disheartening to be treated poorly when spending money at the establishment. In Time passed, I overlooked her; I couldn't today.
Although I requested a refund, the situation could have been handled better. The lady was openly discussing me in front of other coworkers and managers, which made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected. Investing in customer service training for the staff would be beneficial, and a de-escalation course might help avoid conflicts with customers in the future.
I hope that the management team takes this feedback constructively and makes efforts to improve the customer experience at the restaurant. I look forward to returning and interacting more positively...
