Jamba — Restaurant in Fort Worth

I ordered a smoothie during Thursday happy hour. Woman with metallic purple lipstick at the register. She told me my total was regular price. I had to ask for the happy hour price and she corrected it. My total was $5.30, and I paid $6 in cash. She took the money, gave me my smoothie and then closed the window. I was surprised…she forgot to give me my change back! So I waited for her to open the window again. She noticed I wasn’t leaving and went “hi?” and I’m like “you didn’t give me my change?” And she goes “the 70 cents?”— she knew exactly what she still owed me, but it’s as if I was ridiculous to wait on my change…. I say “yes?” Then she goes “Yeah I didn’t ask because usually people don’t want the change back and they tell me to keep it”. I don’t care if it’s ONE cent back— I want to be able to CHOOSE what happens to my change first!! I said “yeah well you didn’t give me a choice” and she goes “oh, well I’ll go get it” and closes the window again. At that point it’s just inconveniencing me to get my change that should’ve been given to me immediately so I drove away. But come on now. Intentionally not giving customers their change back and then QUESTIONING it on top of that, like, “the 70 cents?” as if asking for my own money back was being ridiculous. Don’t do...

This is the second location of Jumba I have been to following the one in Heritage Square. The one thing I like about this location is that the menu prices are slightly better. However, I receive better service at the other location. I ordered pickup for Watermelon Breeze and the Egg, Cheese & Sausage sandwich. While the order was ready when I get there, I had to wait a bit for an employee to notice I was there. The first one walked up to the register and logging in while ignored that I was there. It was not until the second employee who noticed I was there to hand me my order. The Watermelon Breeze is really good, I can taste the real fruit, yogurt, and sherbet in the smoothie; the sandwich tasted good too. Absolutely LOVE this location. The staff on 3 separate visits were very friendly and gave great suggestions and were not annoyed at my dietary questions or requests. Location inside was impeccably clean and patio was spotless. Nice place for an outside visit for a cold drink with fresh fruit or a break for lunch. I will recommend them to everyone and make sure you try the gotcha matcha and their orange twist and my favorite is the greens and ginger. It...
