My wife and I have been going here for years we loved the food. The attitude has changed for the worst. One of the times I was charged for food I didn’t order and explained that I wansnt going to pay for their mistake.I didn’t go again for awhile because of this. Then one day I decided that I would give them another chance and I was pleasantly surprised by the warm greeting by my favorite waitress. She told me that the one lady was no longer there that I had such a problem with and apologized for the trouble. So today I thought I would go around 11:00 to eat. The guy tried to sit me another man in a small 2 seater table even though not many people were in the restaurant. I asked if we could move to a larger table and he asked with a attitude are more people coming. I told him no but that plenty of spots were available. He said well that could change. So I told them that’s fine and I’m leaving. Then his tone was even more rude and said well if you’re going to leave I guess you can sit there until a larger party comes. I told him don’t worry about it. What makes matter even worse is the owner was there the whole time and didn’t stop him. My wife and I have been there so many times with the owner and she always was pleasant to my. Wife and kids and I. I don’t know what has changed but I will not...
Read moreReally busy during lunch with only 1 server but she did a great job with some help from another employeee who stopped eating lunch to take my order and get me my beverage.
Ordered breakfast which is served all day. The flour tortillas are fresh made but unfortunately my breakfast burrito with eggs, chorizo and Pico de Gallo wasn't slightly crispy otherwise decent size burrito for only 3 bucks. Chorizo was spicy and tender and not greasy at all and the eggs were fluffy. I just wished the cook grilled the Pico with the eggs and chorizo otherwise I was pretty happy.
Breakfast tacos with corn tortillas, eggs, chorizo, and Pico was done very well. Corn tortillas which slightly crispy and chewy and the blend of grilled chorizo and Pico was done very well with a healthy serving. Wish there was a little more scrambled eggs.
Definitely will be back! Great neighborhood Mexican place for breakfast!...
Read moreThe food is usually really good and I love that it's local but I went yesterday and spent almost forty dollars for three meals, one was a kids meal, everything was bland and we wasted almost all of it. The elote had way too much cheese and no flavoring whatsoever, they also forgot to give it to me and I made it down the road and realized. When i returned she asked me "back for your corn?" But still Didn't even have it ready. The barbacoa street tacos I received came with two limes that were so dried out I couldn't even use them. My husband said the quesadillas, which are normally his favorite, were bland as well and the sour cream tasted sour. Sadly, i have been eating here for years but I won't be going back. Would rather take the drive to fuel city and feed the whole family for 25 dollars and better...
