I orederd four Taco de asada. She suggested two carnitas, two asada. So I did. All the textures of a great taco where happening. The corn tortilla, soft yet slightly crunchy with wet tangy cilantro and onion, so fragrant so earthy. The green salsa was mouth watering. The meats were very pleasant and plentyfull. Read moreHole in the wall restaurant offering traditional Mexican dishes like caldo de pollo, caldo de res, enchiladas en mole, tacos tapatíos (flautas) and Mexican breakfast. Doesn't look very nice but don't let that deter you from trying it.
They make caldo de res on Mondays and Fridays only. Caldo de pollo is available Tuesdays, wed, and Thurs.
Caldo de pollo I give 4 stars. While it is abundant in zucchini, potato and carrots, it lacks cabbage. Another downside for me... The rice is boiled in the caldo, so it's overcooked.
