Los Pastores Restaurant — Restaurant in Fort Worth

Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were not immediately greeted and were unaware as to seating oneself. However once we were greeted, chips and Salsa were brought out immediately. Water and sweet tea were our drink choices. We asked a few questions about the menu and we decided on the Caldo de Res for Mom and the Parrillada for me. Both were exceptional choices! The Caldo was meaty with a wonderful blend of veggies and plenty of broth. The portion was tremendous and it came with homemade corn tortillas. The Parillada was also a generous serving if beef, chicken, shrimp and sausage. It was served sizzling on a hot skillet with a blend of green and red bell peppers and sautéed onions. The sides were also delicious. Rice, refried beans, guacamole, Pico de gallo and sour cream on top of a bed of lettuce. The service was sufficient but a check back on drinks would have been appreciated. All in all, this place is outstanding! Definitely gonna come back and enjoy another perfectly...

This place is ridiculously overpriced and the customer service (if that's what u wanna call it) was beyond terrible. I ordered tacos with a side of rice and an orange soda...which the total for those three items was about 7$. & as the waitress wrote down my order I also asked for sour cream and guacamole..she replied back with "on the side?" I said yes. She went to put my order in, got my food..ate. and then the check came...that's when I realized THE GDAMN GUACAMOLE ALONE HAD COST $4.50...SOUR CREAM $1.99....AND I MEAN THEY CAME IN THE SMALLEST LITTLE CONDIMENT CUP!! JUST THE TWO GUAC AND CREAM TOGETHER ALONE HAD COST JUT AS MUCH AS MY MEAL!!!! AND U WOULD THINK THE AIRHEADED SERVER WOULDVE MENTIONED THOSE TWO ITEMS NOT ONLY COSTING EXTRA, BUT HMM JUST MAYBE ACTUALLY LIKE HOW MUCH FREAKIN EXTRA?!?! BEYOND ABSURD AND ABSOLUTELY GDAMN RIDICULOUS!!! FOOD WASNT ANYTHING SPECIAL..JESUS I'D GONE IN ABOUT DINNER TIME PLACE WAS EMPTY..NOT ONE OTHER SINGLE CUSTOMER. NOW I KNOW...

This little hidden gem is worthy coming to and having your hunger satisfied with authentic Mexican food. The menu options are plentiful and reasonably priced. The chips and salsa are so delicious. The chips are thick and the salsa is spicy, not too runny or too thick, perfect blend. I ordered the torta which was scrumptious but I prefer queso fresco instead of this shredded yellow cheese they put on it. The service was excellent and the place is kept clean. The portions are more than enough so come hungry. It wasn’t busy when I went so received service real quick but if it is busy parking can be a problem. Other than that Los Pastores receives...
