HIGH disappointed. I’ve eaten here for YEARS and have never had an issue. Upon ordering I asked the young lady at the counter what piece would provide the most meat, she suggested # 13 catfish pieces. I received my order and it LITERALLY was bones and crust. I went through each piece and it was the same for every piece. I informed another lady who was now working the counter and she instructed me to let the guy at the market know. He basically said that’s the way the fish is cut and refused to replace it and said I was only wanting it replaced because I didn’t like it. Well of course I don’t like it.. it’s cyst and bones. He absolutely didn’t budge. With inflation it’s so hard to continue to support small businesses who refuse to appreciate the customer. I’m no fisherman so that’s exactly why I asked what to get. Extremely disappointing. He says in 30 years no one has had a complaint. Not true. I just decided to eat in the establishment today. They will never get my money again. 15.99 for crust and bones. Read moreI made an online order which had two orders of the same combos, however upon delivery only one of the combos were delivered. I contacted the restaurant to inform them that I only received half my order. Mind you there is a price associated and yet it was inconvenienced by one of the workers only writing down my order as one combo, but the restaurant didn’t pay attention to the amount that was spent and make corrections. This was near closing time so I knew I wouldn’t be able to get the order fixed or delivered for that matter. I was redirected to make a complaint with door dash whom then refunded half my order price but the refund was in door dash credits which I can’t access because I don’t use the door dash app. I called the restaurant back to see how they could make up for the inconvenience but the lady who answered the phone gave me a stinky attitude. I didn’t mess up my order and I paid the amount I owed but my family and I had to adjust for the inconvenience last night only to be blown off as if it’s hassle to make it right. Read moreWell, for starters, I did stop eating here cause they went up on their prices. But it looks like their prices had suddenly came back to normal so I ordered again. I ordered by phone two family dinners and I can’t believe I spent almost $80 on fish and they still had the nerve to charge me 3% for paying with a card. I was not told over the phone that there was a 3% fee with the card so I didn’t have an opportunity to get cash before arriving.
Then when I ate my fish, I was so disappointed because they’ve changed the recipe. It used to be like the Rudy’s chicken or fish but now I’d rather cook my own fish at home, the hype is gone. I don’t know that they fired the last Cook of whoever is cooking the fish now, but whoever’s cooking the fish nowadays it ain’t right. What happened? You burn the toast? Oh, you know how to use the butter knife, subscribe the burnt off, right?
