Taqueria Tepito #1 — Restaurant in Fort Worth

I tried this place on the recommendation of someone because I was looking for the best torta. The torta was loong. However, it was about the same ratio of bread to meat. A little visual (when the torta is closed you couldn’t even see the meat). The amount of meat on the previous pictures posted did not compare to what I got. For the price I paid for the torta tepito, I expected waaaaay more meat. I believe I read in previous reviews that they use to have a lot of meat and now they are cutting down on the meat. TBH this was the most expensive torta I have ever bought and I expected more from it. Mayo, beans, more meat. If they were to make the tortas worth the money I would gladly return because the milanesa was the best. But I can find a torta cubana for a more reasonable price somewhere else. I called in my order and the lady who answered took my order with no problem. They have very limited parking. The place was empty when I went so my order was ready fast. Found this spot specifically looking for suadero tacos.

Cute little spot just down the street from a busy area. Tucked away but ample parking.

Quickly greeted after placing the order to go. We had suadero tacos and a pan bazo de al pastor and they were both delicious. My husband thought the suadero meat was good but hoped for more, however, i didn’t try.

The portions were very generous and salsa was included along with utensils which was great.

Priced well and service was great. We will certainly be back...

Customer service sucks! We walked in the door, not one employee in site. About 3 minutes later a lady comes out from the kitchen and just stands at the register. Doesnt say a word! Ok! Whatever. We order & pay. They brought our food. Never saw any employee after that! Oh and their whole taco ordering system sucks! U cant buy two tacos u cant buy 5. U HAVE TO buy 4 tacos that come with a side of beans.. What in the world???? With a name like taqueria i wanna order how ever many i want not what...
