I’ve had just a handful of authentic Chicago Deep dish pizzas in the DFW metroplex over the years. Many pizza joints claim to be deep dish but they’re just a glorified pan pizza. Let me tell you, Rosati’s did not disappoint. This was one of the top 5 deep dish pizzas I have ever had. It takes 45 minutes to cook so call ahead, that’s how you know it should be the real deal. I picked my baby up just as she finished cooking. I could see her slowly rolling out of the oven. She went in the box fresh and was too hot for me to eat in the store. There were only two garden tables in the restaurant so you’re not going to do much dinning in. This is definitely a to go or deliver joint. Limited seating aside, this pie is worth the wait/planning ahead. I couldn’t wait to get home. I knew she had cooled off enough to eat. Her aroma had filled the cabin and I couldn’t resist. I pulled into a secluded parking lot and slowly opened her box. She was hot and ready. She had a thin, crispy, flakey, buttery yet sturdy crust. A staple of an authentic deep dish. The layer of mozzarella at the bottom was warm and stringy as I pulled my slice away from the rest of the perfectly cut pizza. The layered toppings covered in Rosati’s marina were too eye appealing and tasted like heaven. Picture perfect. I can’t wait to go back.

Six plus months ago I stopped eating at this establishment because the management staff come off as meanies. On the past visit it took 2 hours of my time to get the order I wanted because they messed it up. Management had very little concern to offer customer service or right the order at that time, but eventually we got it solved after a lot of frustration. After six months of not going, they had the opportunity to earn my business back this weekend. That didn't happen, because of the rude service and management once again. Upon picking up the order, I asked for 6 parm cheese packets for our pizza and pasta dishes. The lady said, that is ridiculous amount and refused to provide six even if we order more. She had planned to give us one for 12 slices of pizza and 2 servings of pasta. I think that is more ridiculous! Our pizza was a 14" double dough, which is suppose to be 12 slices. However, the pizza was cut into tiny squares and not true pizza slices. That was disappointing, but so was the parm chicken pasta because the chicken was soggy. As for the pizzas, they like to load them with sauce, the crust is bland cardboard, but the cheese and toppings are decent. If they were not rude, I would say this place is maybe 3 stars on a good day at best.

I was born and raised in Chicago and then moved to Texas three years ago. My boyfriend is a Navy Vet and was stationed in Chicago long before we met here in Texas(at a chicken restaurant ironically). While he was there, he loved Chicago, as well as its food. He's been out of Chicago for years now, but mouth always waters at the thought of their food. I told him about Rosati's and planned to take him on a date (yes, I take him on dates, too 😊😊😊). He LOVED it!!! He was completely blown away. See me, I knew what was coming for my taste buds, but he had no idea. The customer service was top tier. The customer service alone was enough for us to return. The pizza was as expected, but better. Ingredients are OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD! Rosati's never misses a beat. We got a thin crust meat classic, adding mushrooms and spinach to it. My boyfriend also got a side of fried ravioli that he thoroughly enjoyed and a tiramisu(which he also loved). I forgot to get pictures of the fried ravioli and tiramisu.

Originally from Chicago, this has become our pizza joint. It’s a taste of home, iykyk 🤤.The food is delicious, the staff is friendly. Place your order online, collect points for some great discount coupons. You do have to wait a bit for your pizza if you walk in and place your order, if you want to walk out within 5-10 mins of placing your order, go to one of those subpar chain pizza places. If you want to taste TRUE Chicago pizza, go to Rosati’s! Enjoy!! Back again and oh my gosh!! Consistently delicious. Thank you for the Chicago pizza fix, once again. Staff is always so friendly and welcoming! Keep up the great work. See you again, soon! *Been a bit since we last got Rosati’s. Placed an order for pick up, had to wait a few minutes for the second pizza, no big deal. Service was great and wow!!! Tastes just like back home. If you love Chicago pizza, you won’t be disappointed. Everything is spot on! If you’re curious and want to try a real Chicago pizza, cut in squares and all, GO HERE! Sorry, no photos, we dug in too quickly! UPDATE, it’s been a few weeks since we last had Rosati’s. This last visit, food was ready on time, tasted amazing, literally you could close your eyes and swear you are in Chicago, eating pizza. The fries were good as well. Don’t miss the chance to get a pizza from here, you won’t be sorry. They are a bit pricey, but for this former Chicago girl, it’s worth it! My husband called at 5:30 to order two pizzas and some fries, was told 1 hour 15 minutes. Ok fine, it’s busy, no worries. Us former Chicagoans will be patient for great pizza🤤By 8:00 pm and numerous inquires as to an update on our order, my husband came home with one pizza and some fries. They ‘lost’ our other pizza. My husband shared that everyone was in the back washing dishes, from what he was told, no type of management, in other words, utter chaos. When he got home, after stopping to get food for the rest of the family, due to being one pizza short, he walked in with a rather small box of pizza. Upon my first bite, they got this right! Pizza was really light on sausage, but man, it was good! Felt like I was back home eating pizza. I hope they work out the kinks soon, I can’t wait to order again! Take note franchise owners, if you build it,...

Was served a chicken parmigiana sandwich that had a full folded up sheet of deli paper inside it. Got half-way through before realizing I was eating foreign material. Called to speak to staff, was very kind and said I would not leave a negative review because "mistakes can happen". I was brushed off, not offered anything for compensation, not even a genuine apology (which would have been more than appreciated and acceptable). I let it go and tried placing yet another order, this time our order was completely wrong, ended up with a plain cheese pizza instead of the specialty meat pizza we ordered, not to mention the sauce had large chunks of what tasted like canned tomato drenched in wine and a foul refrigerator odor taste in the meat. Messaged their Corp office to report what we had experienced, multiple times, never once asking for anything. They came back and said they arranged an agreed upon $50 compensation with the owner for a "chance to earn back our business". They said the discount would be connected with my phone number any time we placed our next order. So we hesitantly place another order, over the phone like always, get there and tried to use our credit that was agreed to, in writing, and were DENIED it saying we had to create an account and place our order online to get the credit. Per corporate, of course that is not true, it appears as if it was just this location's SHADY way of getting more business out of us and a final stab for our trouble. Yeah, this place is disgusting and they are liars. I can't even imagine how their kitchen is run if this is how they handle customer service. Asked Corp to have our last order refunded, as we were denied the credit we were promised, and forced to pay for it, and the owner hasn't even had the respect or professionalism to respond. It's been days. We never would have placed that last order if we had known we were being lied to, taken advantage of, and manipulated into spending more money there. NEVER AGAIN. #rosatispizza #rosati #pizza...

Updated review, after being open a year these guys just continue to disappoint. They really need to send somebody to Chicago to understand how Chicago food is supposed to be made. Everything with these people is about an upcharge everything with these people is about "we can't do that" when any Chicago Rosatis would do it with a smile. Just basic normal stuff. And I continue to have an issue with the fact that they charge you a large prices but they only have a 16 inch when all others have 18.

3.5 some unforced (or sloppy?) errors. I'll start by saying when people who are not from Chicago try to recreate Chicago food they don't understand that cutting corners or not doing things exactly right gets you... not Chicago food. It's still good... just not authentic.

As an example... their version of the Cheef was not the traditional version (btw... grew up with a Rosati's not a mile from the house and have been eating it since I was a kid). In the traditional version the cheese is melted on the top and outside the bread. (Google it). This one was on the inside. There were about 2 still crunchy green peppers. Good sandwich? Yep. A Rosatis Cheef? Nope.

Same for the pizza... the crust was off, dry and too crackery and a bit underdone. Good? Yep. Better then anything in the area? Yep. Rosati's level? Nope.

And why no 18 inch pizza? 16 is not big enough. Esp at these prices. So... some serious kinks to work out. Need to import a Chicagoan or three to help you dial it in. Will gladly give you another shot in a few month. Oh... and what up...
