Waffle House — Restaurant in Fort Worth

Once again, they turned us away at the door at 10:25pm saying it's To-Go Only. I can SEE people dining right in front of me, but the man at the door says the dining room is closed! The only reason to even go to Waffle House is because it's supposed to be open 24 hours through rain, sleet, or snow. It's supposed to be a restaurant you can eat at late at night. Yet we have been told many times now that the dining room is closed and it's To-Go only. So that's it for us, we're never going to WH again. It's such a gut punch to finally take the family out and be turned away with no reason given at all. You lost our business, Waffle House.

my response to their reply Your staffing issues are YOUR problem YOU created because you pay horrible wages! Pay more and you'll have people lining up to work there. You certainly charge enough money for your food!! It's madness that you claim staffing issues while IHOP was open and seating without issue. If IHOP can attract staff and you cannot, that is AGAIN a sign of poor decision making on your part. Get your house in order...

I always wanted to try waffle house. I walked in and was greeted by a very nice older women. I sat down an ordered my coffee. She told me to take my time. I decided to order a burger. She took my order and left. I then noticed the cooks looking at me. I said is everything ok? And they told me i looked sweet. Feeling Uncomfortable I got up to leave as I was leaving A man in a suit walked to the door and locked it he told me to go sit down in the chair in the middle of the room I sat down and was surrounded by 14 employees. They all proceeded to talk about how cute I was and how they were gonna have fun with meAll the other customers started to cheer and smile as they bent me over the chair and proceeded to whip me With dirty spatulas I cried for a long time praying that it would stop but the pain didn't recede. Soon they all stopped and walked away As the waitress walked up with my Burger order the burger was delicious. All in all great food horrible...

One of the male staff is very rude and literally asked me Why I wasn’t going tipping. They used to be dine-in 24/7 now they close the lobby at a certain time and you can order in a walk up Window. This defeats the purpose of it being a once 24/7 breakfast diner. IHOP would never. A group of friends who Took a Uber there had no idea and was left standing outside because there was no further warning of the lobby being closed at certain hours. I thought it was for workers safety but they had a off duty police officer as security there. What was he there for then? Not to mention they got my order wrong twice and the man handed me my bag scrunched up with the good tilting sideways in the bag. Business are getting to comfortable lowering service quality but still expecting your money. I’ll go anywhere else before I go to this...
