I am fairly new to Yuma and haven't been here yet. However, I am giving three stars based on them closing at 2pm. That's way too early! I could see 5pm, perhaps. Your competition just down the street, Starbucks, stays open way later. I do, however, prefer to give locally owned companies my business. Other than that, this would seem like a great place according to other reviewers. [Update: I went by there today at about 3:30pm because their website indicates that they are open until 5pm. It turns out that Google's hours for them are correct. They need to correct their website and update their contact information. I tried to send an email and the delivery failed. I copied and pasted the address. So, I know there was no typo.

[Edit - Since I cannot reply to a response, I am adding to the original comment. How does it not make good business sense? You have a major competitor, Starbucks, that is generally open much later. Also, starting earlier this month, you now have Dutch Bros. Thus, unless you are looking to retire soon, I think it would make great business sense for a mom and pop coffee shop to stay open later. Until at least 5pm as...

Cute local coffee shop situated within an interesting courtyard with a couple other food trucks. We enjoy going here about once a week. As the weather has gotten warmer, we enjoy sitting outside in the courtyard but there is a nice sitting area inside the coffee shop too! If we are there on the weekend, my husband orders a chirizzo burrito from one of the trucks while I head inside to order our hot lattes. (I have also had their iced latte which is fantastic too!) Sadly, they only had sweetened almond milk so we had to opt for milk. The lattes were nice and smooth but I would have preferred the unsweetened almond milk. We recently tried Sunshines Acai bowl and highly recommend it. The bowl is big enough to share!

I have more recently had the bouji bowl and the sunshine bowl. I think the sunshine is my fave as it is a bit more substantial with the addition of almond butter and pitaya. Also, if you are not in the mood for a coffee, order the charcoal coconut. Coconut milk and activated charcoal and to me has some of the same flavors...

Yuma's Sunshine Cafe is more than just delicious coffees and teas. The coffeehouse is also like a general store where they sell a variety of other goods. They also offer some pretty unique dishes, like their mini pancake plate that comes with pancakes, bananas, and strawberries. I enjoy my coffee cold so the frappes are my go-to. Now when it comes to the food, the acai bowl and breakfast sandwich have been my favorites. But, I intend to try out those pancakes and the avacado and bacon toast. The patio is as unique as the food, imagine a garden with a waterfall and murals of the Desert all around you. I can't say enough about Maria and her staff, they've become so popular that they have a food truck closer to downtown on 4th Street between 3rd & 4th Avenue. Sunshine is perfect for those looking for more that just coffee, it's for those that enjoy experiences and sharing their adventures with others. Believe me, you won't regret...

I came here on Valentine's Day morning expecting to have a great time and trying this place for the first time it wasn't what I was expecting, on instagram the place looked much better but the inside was kinda old and the decoration looked like trash + there's no enough space to sit inside, that morning was really cold, it was really uncomfortable to be inside, the coffee wasn't that good and the conchas were $3.50 really expensive (I know they're homemade) but they were tiny, smaller than my hand, we also ordered the ham croissant and our surprise was the size comparing the price $6.50 and just a with a tiny piece of ham and it didn't tasted good, I wouldn't recommend this place, if you come here get ready to spend +$20 in two people
