We took our two very small Yorkies to be groomed and ended up with great disappointment! We only had one fully groomed. The other was a nail trim, paw hairs, and under eyes. We were quoted $40 for the full grooming. And were told the other one should be not much more than a nail trim( with a dremel $10, did not request dremel) when we went back to pick them up. We were told that our dog moved during grooming and it looked much worse than it was!? Wait what? It was deep enough to see tendon😖 and that they were only going to charge us $30 instead of $40 for our fee, and that the total was $60?! What how? I told her the groomer was ringing us up, that we were told for our second dog it should be about the cost of nail trim. She said, oh, so $27. How does that add up? Also She asked how the grooming looked.? I was distraught about her cutting him, I just really wanted to get out of there and comfort him. We paid the $57 for the grooming and left. Now, he is traumatized and we are having to deal with an injury from this. The area he was cut at can not be stiched as it is right where the leg and body join. Constantly moving 😣. We have put him in a cone to keep from licking and administered medication to keep him from getting an infection. I have been told by another groomer that using a electric trimmer in that area is not good. It is a lazy way to trim that area. Because this sort of thing can happen. I do know dogs move, and there apparently is a risk to taking you dog to a new place but this place was recommended. We will NEVER use them again. First of all, we should not have had to pay for the grooming at all on our dog that was cut badly. We are now 2 weeks out and still having to have have him wear the cone! As for the other dog, they didn’t even trim the paw hairs, barely under her eyes. This is an unfortunate thing that happened because we initially felt very comfortable with the treatment they looked like they were going to receive only to be VERY...
Read moreDec 2024 Called the store asking about an RV toilet model and the thickness of a needed gasket. The male worker didn't want to take the time to hear my questions about price, and if there were other items I'd need to pick up. He couldn't get off the phone quick enough. Told me I'd have to come in and get the price. Spoke very impatiently to me as if he'd been explaining it to me for days. I got the sense that: 1) He disliked his job a LOT, 2) Did not think women knew anything about RV parts or 3) He was lazy, rude and biased. I never bothered to go in person to this store because of this phone 'conversation.' So much for shopping around.
Glad I didn't bother going in to shop in person because Feb 1, 2025 I was calling around this time for a new toilet, hoping I could get price information before running all over the valley and Foothills. Guess who I had the pleasure of speaking to again? Yup. Mr. Grumpy Pants. I asked if SW Exchange carried a specific toilet model. Got a curt, tight "yes". I asked what the price would be for this model. He said he wasn't near a register to check the price and if there was time later he'd have 'someone' call me back. This was 5 hours ago and I still haven't gotten a call back. I also had my spouse call today and he got the same runaround from the same employee, 'I don't have the price on that and don't have time today to call you back but we're open Sunday and I could call you then." It's an RV Superstore for goodness sake and can't even give a customer a price. Just had a thought; maybe as policy they don't give out product prices because their prices would be beaten. ...
Read more. We booked our 2 dogs in 2 weeks ago for an 11:00 am groomer appointment. Was told that they would be ready by 2, 3 at the latest and they would be let out for a pee. Called at 2:30 was told that they hadn’t even started them and they would be ready for 5. I decided to go and check on them at 4:30. No one was the counter but I could hear the groomer being down right mean to a dog and yelling at my Yorkie to shut up. I finally got their attention. They said that our cocker was almost ready (this apparently was the dog she was being mean to) and that they’d only bathed the Yorkie. I insisted that they bring our dogs out. Both dogs were terrified and wanted to get out of there. They made me pay full price for the cocker whose grooming was not complete and $25 for bathing the Yorkie. Needless to say I wasn’t impressed but I paid just to get out. When we left both dogs had to pee so bad that they peed in the parking lot for 5 minutes and drank a full bowl of water. Which tells me that they had not been let out to pee or had any water. I called the next day to complain. I got a song and dance from the supervisor who offered to finish the grooming (not a chance). After a bit of circus I spoke to the owner who refunded my money. To give the owner credit she did say that even she was upset with the way our dogs were treated
Our dogs are 9 years old and have been groomed every 6 weeks and never have they been a problem for anyone. I have even received discounts because they are so...
