The Lily Pad/ Golden Frog Restaurant and Saloon — Restaurant in Fountain City

This was our first visit to the Lilypad since we're new to the area, and it will be our last. We waited 10 minutes at the bar (where people budged in front of us) before getting someone to service us. When trying to pull up a menu, it brings you to the Golden Frog website/menu, which is completely different menu but nowhere does it say that. People wandered around with mixed drinks and bartenders had no clue where they were coming from. We later heard a cook say people could buy them across the street at the golden frog and then walk over. Thats seemed extremely sketchy. We waited 40 minutes for our food once we order, and when we checked on it/how much longer it would be, the staff was extremely rude and snapped at us. There's a sign saying " treat our staff nicely" but apparently thats a one way street. There were flies EVERYWHERE, especially around the food prep/kitchen area. We left without our food because I didn't trust it to be safe to eat.

The Golden Frog is 10 times better than the LilyPad. It's a shame that two places with same ownership are so...

The margarita pizza has nearly no cheese on it. When the first one came out for someone else at the table we went to ask to see if they could put a little more on ours since we got it without the tomato slices and was told we would have to reorder and pay for a new one. Service was very slow and rude. You’re responsible for getting your pizzas upstairs yourself and they’re only on cardboard disks, not boxes. The cashier who took our order stopped mid order to answer someone’s question and then took 2 other people’s orders while we were in the middle of ordering. Took our card and walked around with it behind the counter talking and helping other people. They also do not have a baby swing for or much of anything for kids under 4. For $60 to feed a family of 4, 2 being toddlers this was not a good experience. I’ve had better frozen...

We have a group of friends t.hat we get together once a month for lunch. We live anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours from each so we try to pick places in the outlying area so no one has to drive the full 2 hours. The drive is really pretty any way you go so none of us really mind the drive. I called & made reservations & they had their back room all ready for us. The waitress was fantastic! We never had an empty glass & she was always right there for whatever we needed. The food was excellent.We all had wraps, burgers sandwiches, fries & cheese curds.
