Starbucks Coffee Company — Restaurant in Fountain Hills

This is a great Starbucks with an excellent staff. Never a mistake. Baristas are skilled and remember their clientele and preferences. The drive-through is fast. The interior is always clean and well stocked. Management is respected and there seems to be very little turnover in the staff.

I will mention that the location and the parking lot are NOT ideal. Especially the parking lot which is ridiculously small and cramped with many tight right angles. Even small vehicles have to move slow and cautiously to avoid backing into parked cars. I've seen several minor fender bumps and many very close calls. We rarely park and stay. Almost exclusively, we order in advance and one of us runs in while the other waits with the car running in front of another business. We will occasionally use the drive through but this too is a very tight fit with extremely narrow corners. Lots of larger vehicles do the back and forth dance or just drive over the curbs if they have the clearance and the big tires.

It is the local Starbucks and there are other coffee shop choices in town. But we like the staff here and the product is consistent. Five stars are for the staff.

If I were being snarky I would knock off a star because of the parking lot. But that is a corporate miss (a BIG MISS) and our friendly baristas should not have to pay for...
