Boba Splash — Restaurant in Four Corners States

I went twice, thinking my first experience was just a singular bad experience. After the 2nd time I gave myself a few days before writing this review. Service is very slow. This is not a place that you’ll be in and out in 10 minutes. First visit was 40 min and there was only 1 person in front of me. 2nd visit was 30 min and I was the only one there. The boba tastes old and it’s not flavorful. I got a tea the 2nd time and there was a lot of grit at the bottom of the cup, I suspect it was a powder flavoring. They were out of a bunch of stuff the first time and I had to pick 3 different drinks before landing on one that they had. The second time was a bit better where I only had to change my order once. I really wanted to like this place because it’s close to my house but it’s not worth the hassle and you can’t count on them to have a well-made drink every time. I will not...

The family and I went out to get some drinks on Sunday. Unfortunately there machine wasn't set up to get back a receipt and we paid with credit card. Checked the charge that Sunday and everything looked fine logged in today and the bill had went up $9 when it processed the next day. So I believe either tip was added or there was some kind of processing fee not mentioned as my bill went from 51 to 60. Without a receipt I'm not going to go argue about it but figured it was worth mentioning so others can keep an eye out for it.We will only use cash if we return. Overall the drinks are good, different, it was our second time getting it. My kids don't care for the coffee drinks they had gotten but I blame that on we didn't know what they were getting. Staff was not friendly, they seemed bugged that we wanted certain drinks . They were sold out of 3 of the things we wanted . Once we made a decision, the drinks had no flavor . We got a Tai tea and a peach refresher. The powder had settlers straight to the bottom so the drink was gritty and only tasted like milk the boba were not made correctly, they didn’t even have the brown sugar coating or any coating . The refresher was straight syrup and water it tasted more like a cough syrup the. A refresher . It was like 20.00 for three drinks and we weren’t told , hi or thank you for coming .
