I was hungry, driving from a meeting in the South Valley. Was craving mexican food, decided to stop at Forasteros on Coors. I have been at the other Forasteros on Central, which has the best menudo in Albuquerque. This time I tried Quesabirrias at this one. Oh man!! Riquisima!! What a Hit that was!! Meat was tender and flavorful, broth in birria was amazing. I also tried for the first time their Agua de Jamaica (hibiscus flavored water), delicious to say the least. Also tried a few tacos: carne asada, carnitas y adobada, those tacos were very good. All meats were cooked properly, tortillas were warm and soft. I will recommend this stablishment to anyone that is looking for the real mexican flavor in a local restaurant.

Great food! I got the bacon wrapped camaróns and they were delicious but they leave the seeds in so they're spicy but worth the burn. Refried beans and tortillas were good too. Big portions. My husband got the burrito platter and the 2 burritos were huge. He gave it a 7 out of 10 on flavor. Birria Taco a 10. Parents got camaróns enchiladas with beans and rice and loved them. Also big portions. Camaróns had a great flavor. Great place! Just fyi All salsa/ hot sauces are 🔥🔥

Generous portions of great-tasting food. Friendly bilingual crew, and clean dining room. Double-check your tab before swiping a card. The crew works the tables together, ended up paying for coke I didn't want. I would have gladly taken some churros in equivalent exchange, but my husband paid and got a massive to-go coke. He was pleased. Overall, delicious, and worth the prices.

First and last time I visited this place. I walked in and every table was dirty, their extended room was a mess and looked like a storage for all to see. When we approached the counter the waitress did not greet us, instead she gave us a blank stare with a pen in her hand waiting for our order. I asked for chili cheese fries (assuming they had them given they have chili, cheese, and fries) and her response was “we have super fries” I ask what those are and she gets a menu, opens the page and points at the word Super Fries with no discription. I ask what they have and she quickly describes them. I ask her if she has regular chili cheese fries and she again responded with “we have super fries”. At this point, I would have normally walked out but my daughter was hungry and we were short on time. We ordered cheese enchiladas which came with 2 rolled enchiladas and it came out to $8.00 (before tax) no sides, just the enchiladas with CHEESE. Later that evening, I see a woman walking out with a to go box full of regular chili cheese fries. (She was eating them as she was walking)

This place is overly priced, dirty and has very unfriendly staff. I will not be returning to this...

The atmosphere in which I was surrounded in was rather pleasurable, and the temperature was set just right. From the moment I set foot through that door I knew this was a southern country style restaurant but make no mistake the menus still contained English words. As I browsed through the menu in search of a selection to gratify my appetite I came across a wide variety of plates, in the end I felt strong willed about the taco plate with a coke. When my food arrived it definitely exceeded expectations, I was flabbergasted by the quality of the nourishment. You can say it took me back to a time when things were so simple, a childhood time when there was no such thing as worries, bills and everyday problems. With every bite I would take it felt like a piece of heaven in my mouth, but I must say I was not all together pleased with the lack of customer service skills, I had to get up and ask for a refill and not once did my waitress come around to see how I was doing, I would definitely go back but only for the food and not the service, based on my experience at this restaurant I feel like I am inclined to rate this business 4...

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! Not only is the food not good anymore their customer service...hmm no the waitresses lack experience and respect for their clients. My husband and I went for breakfast, long story short... We get there I had to ask for a 2nd menu because we were given ONE. I ordered coffee (at 10:00am) I was told they were out, then another older couple got there and ordered coffee and they suddenly had some! Our order was rudely taken after we had to call her almost 15 minutes later to take it (oh and we didn't get chips and salsa like everyone else did) then Pamela (our waitress) brought our food and proceeds to slide our plates across the table. We were ready to leave at this point so I asked her for her name and to speak to her manager she said he/she wasn't available so I asked her for their phone number as I also explained to her why I wanted it. She answered "I'm not gonna argue with you" we left only to find out she had given me the wrong phone number....so here I am hoping this...
