Rim Rock Patio is an absolute gem that captivates both locals and tourists alike. From the moment you step foot into this delightful restaurant, you are greeted with warmth and charm that sets the stage for an exceptional dining experience.

The baked spaghetti at Rimrock Patio is simply heavenly. Each bite is a delightful fusion of perfectly cooked pasta, rich marinara sauce, and an exquisite blend of cheeses that creates a symphony of flavors. The combination is nothing short of perfection, leaving your taste buds in a state of pure bliss.

Equally remarkable is their barbecue sandwich, which is a true testament to the art of slow-cooked meats. The tender and succulent pulled pork is paired with a tangy and smoky barbecue sauce, creating a harmonious blend of sweet and savory. The sandwich is generously portioned, ensuring that every bite is as satisfying as the last.

And let's not forget the grand finale—the brownie dessert with vanilla ice cream. This indulgent creation is a treat for both the eyes and the palate. The warm, gooey brownie is flawlessly complemented by a scoop of velvety vanilla ice cream, creating a heavenly contrast of temperatures and textures. Each bite is pure bliss, and it's the perfect conclusion to an extraordinary meal.

One cannot help but also commend the impeccable service provided by the wait staff at Rimrock Patio. From the moment we were seated, their friendly and attentive demeanor made us feel like honored guests. Their extensive knowledge of the menu, along with their genuine passion for ensuring a memorable dining experience, elevated our visit to new heights.

The ambiance of Rimrock Patio is equally enchanting. The rustic decor, coupled with the breathtaking views of the surrounding natural beauty, creates an inviting and relaxing atmosphere. Whether you choose to dine inside or enjoy the fresh air on their lovely patio, you'll find yourself immersed in the charm of this...

Tried to reach out by email first in order to get the owners feedback and did not receive a response so here we go.

Reading the many great reviews for this spot I thought surely the food would be at least half decent. I was very surprised to receive a pizza with so little cheese and tomato sauce that I thought for sure there had to be a mistake. I’m sure the owner will comment below something along the lines of how each restaurant has different ways of making the items on their menu. Believe me, this is not one of those cases. There is a fine line between pizza and baked bread. This was not pizza. We are talking less than a spoonful of tomato sauce and less than a handful of cheese. Please understand that I am not trying to be rude or exaggerating when I say this may have been the worst pizza I’ve ever had. Like I said, I would assume this was a mistake, but we received no response from the restaurant whatsoever. This suggests bad management of the establishment. Judging by the snarky comments left by management to the reviews here I would say that assumption may be correct.

Another thing, and admittedly possibly the main reason for the one star rating. To put a mandatory %18 tip on a takeaway order without any previous communication is criminal. No mention on the menu or website of this being the case. Don’t get me wrong, I fully understand the importance of tipping. I even understand the potential need for a mandatory tip but THIS MUST BE COMMUNICATED TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. As a consumer, I have the right to know what mandatory fees are incurred with the product I am purchasing.

This place should be avoided until they get their...

Cool place with a decent vibe and great views. The employees that I dealt with were also nice. But I'm afraid that's where this review starts to turn. We purchased two large pizzas (over $50) for takeout and I have to say that it is some of the worst pizza I've ever had. The toppings were sparse, and there was hardly any sauce at all. My pizza was supposed to have barbecue sauce and ranch and I could barely taste the barbecue sauce but could absolutely not taste the ranch. My wife's pizza was supposed to have a pesto sauce and neither of us could taste it at all. The crust was also very thick and doughy, which is especially bad when there's no sauce. Judging from some of the other reviews I'm wondering if this place is under new ownership, or maybe the person that made our pizzas was very new and did not know what they were doing. As well, our pizza did not look anything like some of the pizzas in the pictures I saw in other reviews. If we hadn't been so tired from hiking all day, we would have taken the pizzas back and politely asked to have them remade properly. I'm just going to assume something was very wrong, but you may want to proceed...

We loved eating here after a day of hiking in Capitol Reef! The servers were friendly and helpful, and the food was amazing. My husband and I both ordered the BBQ sandwich, which was delicious and very filling. The restaurant is small, so try to come before it gets dark, because the seating fills up fast once everyone leaves Capitol Reef. We left the park as the sun was setting and there were a couple tables left when we got in, but within a few minutes the whole restaurant was full. I would not recommend coming here if you have a big group (like 5+ people). However, for a small group of friends or a couple, it’s perfect! Since the seating area is so small it feels very homey and welcoming. At one point the entire restaurant sang happy birthday to one guest, which I thought was fun. We would definitely come again!

Casual restaurant with great views of the mountains from its patio seating. We came during a less busy time intentionally to better enjoy our experience. The wait staff was very attentive and our food was made well and tasted great. I only gave it 4 stars for food because it was good, but nothing I haven't already had in terms of quality and taste. There was indoor and outdoor seating. I loved the patio seating though. They had a small stage for entertainment, shaded and unshaded seating, yard games and disc golf available for use outdoors.

As a guy from Jersey I was surprised by their pizza. I had a medium "Climate Denier" bbq chicken pizza and my wife had the "Tree Hugger" vegetarian pizza and they killed it. After a 10 miles worth of hikes through Capital Reef the pizza and a few beers really hit the spot. A relaxed atmosphere, it's a nice place to have a few beers, throw some horseshoes or Cornhole and chill by the fire. Would definitely come back if we were in this neck of the woods.
