Convenient if one is staying in the park. FOOD: 2.0. But it comes out fast after one orders. - 1.0: Ahi Tuna appetizer. Precooked, but not completely thawed. Strangest seasoning I've ever had with Ahi Tuna. Menu listed Wasabi as an ingredient, but we could not detect the slightest hint. - 2.0: Penne pasta with tomato sauce, mushrooms, and mozzarela. Not bad, other than I couldn't detect any mozzarela. A small cup of powdered cheese was served with the dish, but I have not previously seen powdered mozzarela, and it didn't taste like mozzarela. - 1.5: Hot Trail Bowl. "edible". - 4.5: Seasonal vegetables. The surprising star of the email. Fresh vegetables sauteed with light salt/pepper seasoning. Perfectly done to the perfect crispness. SERVICE: 3.0. Attentive and brought us what we ordered. AMBIANCE: 4.0. Dining in the Lodge was nice.

Service was ok, accommodated our large group quickly. Atmosphere was fine, a little dark, but very roomy. Food was just ok. I had the All American Burger; burger had no seasoning and only taste was the grilled taste. Bacon was super thin and crumbly. Cheese had no taste. Fries were either overcooked or stale, couldn’t really tell, but only half were edible. Wife had the Farfelle Pasta. It was ok, could’ve had a little more cheese and sauce was a little thin/runny. Daughter had the kids chicken tenders. Tenders were bland, breading was a bit mushy. Same thing with her fries as mine. Honestly was not worth the price for the quality of the food. Burger should’ve been more like $10-12. Pasta should’ve been more like $15-18 and kids tenders meal should’ve been that price but with a a drink like most other places.

We had dinner at The Lodge Restaurant at Bryce Canyon, Bryce Cayon City, UT. We waited about 30 minutes for a table at 7:30PM. There were empty tables in the dining room but not enough wait staff. The meal was surprisingly tasty for a National Park. Our waiter was very attentive and polite. On the menu: Slickrock Salmon - pan-seared, honey glaze, garlic mashed potatoes, and asparagus. Grilled Rainbow Trout - caper butter, rainbow baby carrots, brown rice quinoa blend Elk Chili - white bean chili, ground elk, beef, shredded jack Mixed Green Side Salad

A rustic place for a sit-down meal in the park. The crispy brussel sprouts were undercooked, cold, and way too salty. Unless you're a heavy smoker. The days of bad food and heavy smoking. Then I ordered the salmon which comes medium. Does not matter how you order it done. It comes medium. It was not exactly hot and slathered in oil. I think I should have ordered the fish and chips that probably would have been less greasy. The veggies that came with the fish were okay. And the potatoes were not bad. I was hungry but not hungry enough to eat that stuff. Unfortunately in this town there is not much choice. I'm thinking stick with the pizza and burgers and just recognize you're not going to get good food in this town. As far as the service goes, the waitress was pleasant but took no interest in hearing about the quality of the food at all. She didn't even ask. All she said is that's a lot of food isn't it. And I said no and she walked away. I didn't even have an opportunity to say this stuff isn't really good. Not that I want to try to get a refund or anything. I just don't care. Just think you should know the food sucks. But seems like they don't care about anything. We asked for water with no ice. That was also a challenge. I don't think the waitress listened to anybody. She just said her stuff and...

I absolutely love our National Parks and really value the legacy left by the CCC across America. The Bryce Canyon Lodge is a beautiful rustic historical lodge but not built by CCC. The Park and Lodge are both beautiful and definitely worth visiting. The Dining Room at the Lodge is sadly a big miss and just felt like very minimal effort was put into the food here. We were hungry after a solid morning of hiking and stopped in for the lunch buffet which was the only option....no menu offered for lunch. The lunch buffet was $20/person and the majority of the food on the buffet was convenience food....like the cheap pre made potatoe and macaroni salad you buy at the store. The broccoli cheese soup was out of a can and just awful. The only thing on the buffet that actually seemed prepared at the Dining room was the baked chicken which was dry and minimal seasoning. It's disappointing. When you come to a beautiful place you also want your food and accommodations to be nice. It just felt like nobody cared or was trying. I give it a 2 star because it was food when we were hungry and the Lodge itself has...

We ate dinner and breakfast at the Dining Room at the Lodge at Bryce Canyon. We were staying at the Lodge so it was convenient.

We arrived at the Dining Room at about 8pm and was warned they close at 9pm and there is a waiting list so we may not be able to get served. They estimated we would get seated about 8:30pm. We decided to be added to the waiting list because there aren't many choices in the area. We were pleasantly surprised that we were seated about 8:15pm. We didn't feel rushed by the server and were even offered dessert after 9pm. When we left after eating dessert there were still other diners in the room.

Our dinner was very good. We had Elk Chili, Side Salad, and Slickrock Salmon, and apple pie. Everything was cooked well and tasted good. We had the breakfast buffet the next morning and there was a good assortment of food. All of the food that we ate was good. The bacon was crispy which is...
