This is a very cute and cozy cafe that is welcoming to all families, pets, and visitors who are either staying at the RV park or not. We got in late Saturday and did not want to cook. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and it had a nice big eye on it, worth the money. My wife got the mushroom ravioli and that was also delicious. What we liked was that nothing was over salted and portion sizes were good. That was not the only meal that we experienced. The following day we tried their breakfast, which included biscuits and gravy, potatoes, French toast, and their breakfast sausage links. All were very delicious. The staff go above and beyond to make sure that you have the greatest experience here at Ouray RV, river resort we had the pleasure of being served by Ivan, Kalei, and Sage, who were very attentive, and never made you feel like you were forgotten. We definitely recommend not only staying here at the RV resort if you can, but also enjoying the cafƩ.

This place is behind the motel we stayed at. Had decent reviews from what I found online. Live music on the night we went so, hey, let's give it a try. Service was extremely slow. Had to wait 15-20 mins for service after seated. Finally got a drink order in, then waited another 15 mins to get our food order placed. Finally got our food, and my loaded baked potato was a plain baked potato. The server ran off before I could point this out. I had to take my plate to the hostess who took my plate back to the kitchen to "load" my potato. Finally, I received my dinner to eat. See the picture. $25 for this chicken quarter, a "loaded" baked potato ($2 uncharge,) and slaw. This was the smallest chicken quarter I have ever received at a BBQ restaurant. I may come back to Ouray, but I'll definitely find somewhere else to eat. Still waiting on the check to arrive. This experience is now 2 hours old. šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

We were in Ouray for the night and saw this place online and decided to give it a try. It was a little hard to find but we realized that you have to drive into the RV park and it is just down the way. We had a reservation and we got seated right away. For our appetizers we got the Brussel sprouts and shrimp kebabs, which were delicious. Then, we got the 1/2 pound brisket with Mac and cheese and a baked potato, and for the other meal we got the steak and frites. Both were very good. For dessert, we got the chocolate mousse and the molten lava cake, which were very delicious and moist. Our server was very attentive and was always asking if our food tasted good and if we needed anything else. The scenery was amazing and we ate so fast we forgot to take pictures. Compliments to chef Ivan, the food was wonderful! Can’t wait to come here again!

Here's a review for their CATERING SERVICE... EXCELLENT

We recently used The Smokehouse @ Ouray Riverside Resort in Ouray, Colorado for our son’s elopement, wedding reception where we were staying and were overall very happy!!. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, especially the brisket, but we can’t just pick one, it was ALL fabulous. The two Chefs and owner were professional and efficient, and their service was impeccable. Overall, we would highly recommend The Smokehouse @ Ouray Riverside Resort for future events, both small and large.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. Every dish was a culinary masterpiece! Our guests raved about the food! The quality and taste were exceptional, and there was more than plenty for everyone.

They were incredibly attentive, cordial, and extremely professional, both at the event and in the office. Making our event seamless and enjoyable. Very well-timed, professional, and cordial. The caterer was highly organized and effectively delivered on a very tight timeline, all the while maintaining their cool and focus. They also did an amazing set up, of all the food, desserts, and drinks… there are no words to describe how beautifully displayed and delicious the food was. They truly offer quality service with attention to detail.

At the last minute, I even had to rent some chairs and tables that they were happy to help me with.. (my life saver, LOL, really)

Chef Paula and Chef Gonzalez, you and your team executed beyond my expectations. Ya’ll achieved everything we were hoping for, a relaxed atmosphere and delicious food. (Please share this with the owner, I’m sorry I forgot her name.) Everything worked out perfectly. We wanted to thank you so much for helping make our event an enjoyable one. Thank you Thank you very very much!!

We look forward to working with you and your team again in the future.

Wow.... Last minute choice of a restaurant close to the hotel.... When ya read "smokehouse" and you walk up to a patio its inevitable to think "this is going to be overcooked ribs on butcher paper".... Mind you this was Valentines day but the bumble vibes reminded me of a steakhouse in rural Montana. Ok, lets go. Special for the night "smokehouse prime rib with yukon mash, aspargus and carrots". Yeah, that will work. Lets have that with the Caesar salad and fried brussels. So, the brussels were very good but just a bit sweet. The salad... OMFG... I ahve had a couple really good caesar salads in my life and this one just took the second spot, and that is saying something. It had all the things but what really made it was the dressing. It was like angels took lemons and tickeled you while you ate it. So light so refreshing. Then the prime showed up... A nice 20oz cut, cooked to our perfect medium rare liking, stacked on golden mash, perfectly cooked asparugas and lil carrots with the tops still on. BOOM... Now here is where the real magic happens. If ya know, ya know. Its the little things. So far everything is fabulous but when ya grab a little dab of the horseradish sauce and pop it in your mouth... Its like walking through a snow covered wonderland of creamy goodness that dances divinely with the ajou making a total mouthgasm of prime rib delight. Ummmmm.... Ok ok ok.... wow... For a busy night I can really feel that chef and his team have given their heart to every dish. This is what makes food so special. Sustanance that eminates love, care, intention. Thank you The Smokehouse in Ouray CO. Dont get me started on desert...

That was fun. And if you get a chance I highly recommend sovoring...

Lynn was our server, she was great and deserves 5 stars. Service was quick & she was very friendly. However, four stars for the food, some was fantastic and some was not good. As an appetizer we ordered the Brussels sprouts which were fantastic. For dinner, We ordered the 2 person platter which had great Smokey flavor for the meats - you get chicken, brisket, and ribs and 3 sides. I gave 4 stars because the portion of the sides were extremely small. While the portions of the sides were small the mac & cheese and loaded mashed potatoes were delicious. The baked beans were just okay, we were told they were a ā€˜special recipe’ but, honestly, tasted like baked beans out of the can. I also gave 4 stars because we got the crĆØme brĆ»lĆ©e cheesecake- this is not made in house and while we were told it’s preordered it tasted freezer burned. This was not good. Lastly, it’s a little odd that you can only get pulled pork at lunch time. It’s a pretty basic bbq dish and not available at dinner. It would have been nice to have this as an option for dinner and have your choice of meats/sides rather than them being picked for you like on the platter. Overall though, good food and...
