Tina, the owner, was gracious via phone and text during the reservation process.
The check-in instructions did not provide information regarding where to obtain room keys, so we had to call upon arrival which was very late at night. We were instructed to go to the pub on the basement level and ask the bar staff for keys. My hubby went in to get them and shared that it was a smoke filled atmosphere. Thankfully I didn't go in because I'm highly allergic to cigarette smoke. The inn, however, was totally non-smoking.
The room was subpar, at best. All of the old fashioned "paper" window blinds were broken and we had to hang towels in the bathroom window as we could be seen directly from the street and sidewalk. We also had to secure the curtain around the window AC unit or guests in the back could see directly into our room. The mattresses were comfortable enough, but one bed dipped towards the middle while the other bed fully caved in the middle. The toilet was true toddler size, seriously less than 18" from the floor. That height should be noted in the online room description as multiple people would have a very difficult time getting back up from the commode. The sample size toiletries provided were sufficient and the hair dryer was a plus.

Prior to my stay here with family I had reached out to the property manager on two separate occasions to confirm reservation info and later modify the reservation dates, respectively. It took them two weeks to respond to my first inquiry and never responded to my second. Additionally, the contact number provided on the reservation receipt is only for the main office which will never have someone present at it.
I attempted to reduce my stay by just one night, a week ahead of its start (where they never responded) and they refused to refund that single night despite my party leaving at the appropriate time and having provided reasonable advanced notice. They cited their 30-DAY CANCELLATION POLICY which is absurdly unrealistic and uncompetitive in their industry.
The room itself was clean but contained a broken table (unable to hold any weight), a broken cabinet, a broken paper dispenser, and a bathroom door uncapable of locking.
The only positive experiences we had was the decent food and drinks in their pub, and the location's proximity to where...
Read moreI booked two rooms for a concert in October. One for multiple ppl and one dog friendly single. The Tuesday prior to the concert on Saturday, I called to let them know we had a death in the family and we would not be coming in. I told them I understood the cancelation policy but if they were able to rebook the rooms if we could have a refund. I didn't hear back from them but noticed that the two rooms were back up on their website the next morning.I was hopeful. Well they were able to book both rooms, at a much higher price I may add. I have screen shots. I waited a day or so and emailed them if I was able to get a refund. No answer no refund. I was hoping they would do the right thing seeing that we weren't able to go because we needed to attend a funeral. I'm sure we would've much rather go to the concert and have different circumstances. So in the end they kept our money plus the more money they got for re- booking our rooms. If I would've known I wouldn't have told them so they couldn't double dip. I will not book with them in the future. They lost our business.
It is very much the truth. Like I said, you've lost...
