The Compass Rose Harbor Bar — Restaurant in Frackville

We went for taco night and got the platters and wings. Wings were average sized wings with not very many flavor options. We did book a reservation and when seated there was already a place card for the next reservation. While I understand and appreciate that they booked the table in the next time slot and make us aware, it was off putting. We waited about 45 minutes for wings and 6 taco platters. The soup was just ok, the street corn wad terrible, unlike any we've had anywhere and we are all lovers of it. The general tsaos taco was great, the chicken bacon ranch tacos were excellent, beef tacos were ok and others had plain chicken tacos and said they were ok. The place is small, parking isn't great, and the food was not complicated but took a really long time. If I was in the area already I'd have the chicken bacon ranch tacos -but we won't go out of our way to return because it...

Absolutely terrible. The server/bartender (Melissa) could not tell me what liquor was stocked... Actually told me to come look for myself while I was sitting at a booth with a friend I met up with that I had not seen in almost 20 years... I was just looking for what vodkas they had ...she named two... Only two... And when I asked if they had a certain vodka, I was told to go look for myself. It was unreal. As for the food... Neither myself or friend were pleased. The "popular" gringos tacos which the server or whatever she was... recommended... Had meat that was terribly overcooked, and the queso ...is not queso... (pic posted) On the nachos. This woman [Melissa] not only took forever to get us the check when we originally asked for it... But announced our tab when approaching us. It was my friends first time there as it was mine... Neither of us will...

No complaints about the food or restaurant, it's not a one time thing either. Everytime I ask politely, if I can get sauce in the container for my wings, they give a tiny little cup, along with damn near dry looking wings, i get so much attitude and disrespect. I specify over the phone, I would like sauce IN the container. I will pay extra if need be, but every time, I'm having to brave the fire and the stares I get from every waitress/waiter, when I ask for sauce in the container.

I worked in fast food, I worked as a manager in fast food. I know times get hectic, I know sometimes it's not your day. But FFS, alls I'm asking is for some sauce! Instead of wasting little tiny plastic containers, before you send it out, just dump a bit more sauce in! Great food as I said, cool place, horrible...
