Wow! Casa Fiesta! By far out of the 32 Mexican Restaurants in Frankfort, THE BEST! This simply is not a "my favorite place" review. We have tried most all the restaurants in Frankfort and this one takes the top prize!
An old McDonald's, Casa Fiesta has been re-imagined as a colorful Mexican Restaurant. Although quite small in size, it does not lack for seating here. We usually are seated right away in the outdoor area. The inside is nice, with wooden booths for smaller couples groups and tables for larger.
We are always greeted with smiles from the staff when seated and are pleasantly surprised when our drink orders come almost instantly!
The menu has so many more dishes than a traditional Mexican Restaurant. I find myself trying and loving new things I find on the menu. Of course, the tamales are something to brag about. They come fresh from the kitchen inside corn husks, hinting at the authenticity and incredible flavor. There are plenty of vegetarian options as well, so no fear there! My aunt put just regular salsa on the Mexican Chopped Salad and loved it. Or you can grab the Fajitas, which never disappoint.
Thanks to the friendliness of the staff, the deliciousness of the menu items, modest price, Casa Fiesta in Frankfort, KY gets a 5 out...
Read moreCalled in an order. With specific instructions that I needed a nacho supreme basically with jalapeños added and a an order of chicken cheese and rice with fajita veggies in it and nothing came how we ordered it. (I ended up with a tray of chicken and beef on rice with some broccoli and cauliflower thrown in.) I have never been to a restaurant that could not put together an order that was spelled out completely. Not to mention it took me asking for the tomatilla sauce from 3 workers after the initial lady behind the register telling me she had just poured hot sauce into a container for me when i ordered it to begin with. All this being said my bill was 69 dollars then an extra 7 dollars to correct my sauce and get another bag of tortilla chips and almost nothing being correct. Needless to say I wouldn't recommend take our from this establishment. The only thing that we could give props on would...
Read moreI’m visiting from out of town and I really trusted the reviews online, but unfortunately I would not return. The service was good and the staff is very polite and welcoming. Part of my order was incorrect, but honestly, I wouldn’t review a restaurant for that because that’s fixable.
I ordered these steak, chicken and shrimp fajitas and honestly they we we’re pretty bad. The chicken was very red/orangey looking and dry. There was maybe 2 ounces of steak and three or four shrimp on the dish. This dish is accompanied by rice beans, salad, guac, pico, and sour cream. The rice was dry and crunchy. My flour tortillas were fine, but my husband who ordered the steak plate had soggy corn tortillas that were sticking together. He said his steak was good, but the rest of it not so much. We really wanted to like this place because again it’s highly reviewed, but I’m just sharing...
